3 ~ Pool

Madison swung open the gate dramatically and walked in, doing a bit of a runway walk. She had a black one piece on, holding a white towel with a small logo in the corner. She seemed to not be self conscious whatever.

Adrianna slowly tried to pull down the bottom part of her one piece so it wouldn't show her thighs as much and blushed. "Why does she look so...good?" She mumbled.

Madison sat down in the chair next to Adrianna, laying out her towel. "You see, you see, here is the only place where it's sort of fun." She giggled, putting her hands behind her head.

Adrianna stared at her. "I think the bread bank was pretty fun. I think many things are fun if you have someone with you." She said, expressionless.

Madison looked up at Adrianna, then sticking out her tongue. "Eclk! Stop acting like a bad romance movie." She then stood up and even though the water was cold, ran straight into it.

Adrianna threw her head back as she got splashed, shivering. "Hey! What the.." She dragged her chair over and sat it next to the pool, sitting down.

"Huh? What are you doing?" Madison tilted her head to the side, throwing her wet hair behind her.

"Uhm..I don't wanna get in. It's cold." Adrianna held her towel close to her, staring down at Madison, nervously.

"Awh..c'mon. What are you? A coward?" Madison stuck her tongue out once again, swimming over to grab the ledge.

"No! I just..don't like swimming all that much.." Adrianna blushed and looked to the side.

"Who doesn't like swimming? You're weird. Then what do you wanna do?" Madison rolled her eyes, sort of bothered that Adrianna wasn't with her.

"I don't know..talk?"

"About what?"

"I don't know! School..?" Adrianna suggested, Madison's expression dropping, staring directly at Adrianna. Adrianna felt a pit in her stomach, thinking maybe she said something wrong.

"Oooohooo! You're in for a treat!" Madison sung, tapping her fingers one by one in the water, calmly. "I hope you know on the first day you're required to go through a test of endurance and try to drown yourself in the toilet."

"Really?"

"No." Madison smirked, shaking her head. "It's honestly fine. It's just normal hell. It's like..just a bit worse than here. This place is like...heck! And school is hell. Yeah. That makes sense."

Adrianna raised her eyebrows. "...are there any clubs you're in?" Adrianna questioned.

"Uhm...I'm in volleyball and the gaming club?" Madison said it as if it were a question.

"Ooh! Really?"

"No, I'm actually in the science club and planning world domination." Madison responded sarcastically. "Yeah, I'm in volleyball and the gaming club. Am I really that unfit?" Madison looked down at herself. "That's insulting."

"Nonono! I wasn't meaning to insult yo-"

"I'm just playing with you! You're fine!" Madison shot a sweet smile at Adrianna, grabbing onto one of her chair legs. "Just stick by me and you'll be fine!"

Adrianna sat there for a moment, staring into Madison's forest green eyes. "Yeah..I'll be fine...." She felt as if maybe she wouldn't have been fine if Madison wasn't there.

"Annnddd- KACHOW!" With that, Madison pulled Adrianna's pool chair into the water with her, Adrianna screaming and falling in.

She swam back up and shoved Madison. Madison giggled and dipped under the water, grabbing the chair. "Oh - wait! Look! Look!" Adrianna, panicked, pointed to the manager coming out of her office.

Adrianna and Madison burst out into laughter, Madison desperately attempting to get the chair out of the pool. "Go! Go! Go! C'mon!" Madison shouted.

The manager walked over, her eyes widening as she realized a chair was in the pool. "What the...Madison!" She grabbed the top of the chair, staring at Madison.

"It wasn't me! It was an accident! It fell in!" She quickly tried to explain. She then got up, out of the pool, pulling Adrianna out with her soaked towel.

"I find that hard to believe." The manager watched them ignore her, Adrianna seeming nervous by getting yelled at.

"Because..." Madison caringly wrapped her own towel around Adrianna. Adrianna blushed, staring at the ground. "It's a lie!"

And with that, she pulled Adrianna away with her, out of the pool. The manager angrily pulled the chair out, having given up on Madison.

"We're- we're gonna get in trouble!" Adrianna yelped, being pulled to a staircase, them sitting down together.

"Yeah, but everything is way more fun with that fear!" Madison smiled her signature cute smile, Adrianna's scared expression turning happy.

"I don't agree...but that's what makes you intriguing. You're so different.." Adrianna talked at a normal volume before whispering the last part.

Madison didn't question it as she opened a bag with two capri suns, passing one to Adrianna, then violently stabbing her own.

Adrianna took it, not moving, staring at the girl. "Wow..."
