6 ~ Dead Moth

Adrianna took a deep breath before picking up her phone to look and her and Madison's messages. She then began typing on her phone, reading her messages out loud. "Wanna..come..downtown for..hot chocolate.. with me?" She sent it, a small smile plastering on her face as she saw Madison began typing back.

Madison:

Adrianna's smile widened, thinking this meant it was a yes.

Adrianna:

Madison:

A faint blush appeared on Adrianna's face. "She's such an idiot.." She loved Madison's stupid small jokes.

Madison:

Adrianna stared at her phone, her smile sort of disappearing. "Can I not think..? It's just..it's just a joke! And why would it matter? It's not like I like her or anything.."

Adrianna shook her head, a smile then appearing as she pictured Madison doing her tsundere impression as she always did when Adrianna said something like that.

Adrianna:

Adrianna giggled before throwing her phone on the bed and putting on a long sleeve button up shirt tucked into a navy blue skirt, pink suspenders on as well.

She grabbed her bag and threw it around her shoulder, her notifying her mom and them both walking out toward the car. She checked Madison's and hers messages, her eyes widening at her messages.

Adrianna pocketed her phone before seeing Madison walking over to her car, running over, giggling. "Uh- Wilford Warfstache knock off." Madison immediately said after examining Adrianna's outfit.

Adrianna giggled before playfully shoving Madison. "Shut up.." They then walked over to the car, getting in and sitting down in the back, Adrianna's mom already sitting inside. She started the car and then they got going.

"Is there anything else you wanna do or get other than hot chocolate?" Madison asked, smiling. Adrianna then looked at Madison's outfit, her eyes widening a bit.

It was a black and white baseball jacket over a black crop top. She also wore black cuffed jeans with black platforms. She dressed herself rather well. "Uhmm..I dunno..we could go for the arcade? I know you love the arcade downtown." Adrianna suggested, Madison gasping.

"How'd you know though?! Stalker!" She stuck out her tongue.

"No, it's because you talk all the time. You said it on the way back from your volleyball game." Adrianna scoffed, shaking her head.

"Oh. I don't remember that.." She blushed, scratching the back of her head. Adrianna stared at her, thinking her blush was cute, not noticing what she was doing.

Madison throwing something at Adrianna took her out of her daydream. It was small and flakey, scaring Adrianna a bit but she quickly threw it off of her in fear. She giggled a bit, looking up at Madison. "What was that?" Adrianna questioned, shaking her head.

"A dead moth." Madison said, emotionless.

"What the hell, Madison?!" Adrianna looked sick as she wiped invisible moths off her as if it did anything, obviously disgusted. "Why'd you do that?!"

Madison shrugged, a small smile appearing on her face. "Sometimes I do random stuff like that for no reason. Bad habit."

"Bad habit? Who has a bad habit for throwing dead insects at people?" Adrianna shook her head, secretly happy. She liked any attention from Madison.

"This guy!" She pointed both her thumbs at herself, Todd Packer style before leaning against the window.

It was around a 30 minute drive so Adrianna ended up leaning against her own window, feeling something on top of her shoulder. She raised her head over to see Madison, leaning on her.

Her heart melted as she saw her, then leaning her head against the window again, smiling, knowing Madison was near her. She loved her presence in general.

Slowly, as they were around 5 minutes away, Madison raised her head from Adrianna's shoulder and looked around, then realizing she was leaning on Adrianna.

"Sorry.." She mumbled, her hair looking messier than usual. She then glanced outside, smiling at the large buildings. "We almost there..?" She questioned.

"Mhm! Could I..have your hoodie..?" Adrianna asked as she was slowly getting more and more cold.

"Oh..uhm..I forgot." Madison chuckled nervously, Adrianna's expression seeming a bit annoyed. "Buuuuut-" She sang, taking off her baseball jacket. "I will gladly allow you to have my jacket."

Adrianna's expression then turned a bit more happy as Madison wrapped her jacket around her. "Th..Thank you.." She smiled, grabbing onto the sides of Madison's jacket and pulling them in, giggling.

"Happy?"

"Very."
