8 ~ Hot Chocolate

"NONONO! My dad's gonna kill me. Well..if we get caught. Let's go!" Madison then pulled Adrianna away from the machine and to her mom. "Hey, could we go for hot chocolate now?" Adrianna was panting, looking back and forth at the two.

"Sure, sweetie." Her mom then stood, grabbing her bag and taking the two out of the arcade.

"I wish your mom was mine." Madison chuckled, a weak smile on her face as the two made their way for the hot chocolate place. When they got there, the smell of sugar and chocolate flooded their noses, both of them smiling.

They walked in and up to the counter, Adrianna's mom buying them two hot chocolates, getting a coffee for herself. They then took a seat at a table, Adrianna and Madison sitting next to eachother.

"Don't take a sip of your hot chocolate yet, it's hot-" Adrianna warned, Madison immediately taking a sip and yelping, sticking her tongue out.

"Aagh! It hurts!" She yelled, waving air on her tongue.

"I told you it would but you didn't listen!" Adrianna snapped, Madison furrowing her eyebrows angrily at Adrianna, as if she did something. "Don't look at me like that."

After a few minutes of Madison pouting, they then began drinking their hot chocolate happily. Adrianna was taking a small sip and then setting hers down while- well Madison had already drunk more than half of it.

"You know..I really like sweat bees. They land on you and just chill! They don't hurt you or anything! They're just nice and calm." Madison explained, smiling happily at the thought.

"But if you decide to let them stay then they build up and you end up having one hundred sweat bees on you." Adrianna reasoned, Madison immediately shaking her head.

"No, that's a good thing!" Madison then drank the other half of her hot chocolate.

"How?" Adrianna shook her head, giggling, taking another sip of hers.

"Because then you have an army! You can envade Russia!" Madison then turned around and threw her hot chocolate cup in the trash.

Adrianna rolled her eyes, Adrianna's mom then checking her watch. "Hey, girls..we've got to get going. It's getting late." They both nodded, all of them standing and heading out, Adrianna carrying her hot chocolate as she hadn't finished it.

They then got in the car, sitting down. Adrianna held her cup slightly tilted, a bit of hot chocolate slipping out of it as she leaned against the window.

Madison leaned her head under the cup, opening her mouth to drink some of the hot chocolate. "Wha - hey that's mine!" Adrianna then pulled it away from her.

"Yeah but..I drank all of mine.." Madison pouted, making grabby hands toward the drink. Adrianna rolled her eyes before handing Madison the cup.

"One sip. O n e. You hear me?" Adrianna demanded, Madison taking one sip..and drinking half of it. She then handed it back, Adrianna shaking it and furrowing her eyebrows.

"You drank half of it!" Adrianna snapped, pulling it away and putting it in the cup holder on her side.

"In one sip." Madison winked, "Impressive, right?"

"I am not proud." Adrianna shook her head, Madison pouting.

Madison then looked over at Adrianna. "You look really nice in that baseball jacket.." Madison complimented, Adrianna's face going red.

"Th..Thanks..that reminds me, I should probably give it back to you." Adrianna then took off the jacket, handing it to Madison, Madison giving a small nod in thanks, smiling.

After a long drive, they arrived back at their apartment complex, opening their car doors and getting out. "Hey, sweetie, you okay with walking home alone?" Adrianna's mom asked, Madison nodding happily.

"Yeah, I do it all the time." She took a few steps back, walking backward. Adrianna's mom shook her head, clearly not approving of Madison's parents. "Well, I'll see ya!" Madison yelled before Naruto running back to her complex, Adrianna smiling.

"See you!" Adrianna shouted back, her mom and her then walking back to the apartment complex.
