The story behind my mysterious man

It was  very cloudy today, i went straight from school towards the brightly coloured park, then i heard a manly smooth voice.

"Hi, sorry about last night"

I whip my head around to see brain.

"Before you even---"

Brain stopped me before i could say anything else.

"I want to show you something"

"I can't--"

"Please"he begged, his eyes was dazzling as he pleads,  you may say im a total idiot and i agree but i couldn't say no to those eyes.

"Fine, but promise me you wont tell me to jump out of a speeding car again."

"You did fine last night"

"If i didn't take gymnastics when i was small i would have died, no joke"i responded with a serious voice.

He touched my shoulders and i felt my body melt, my face flushed with red.

"I'll always protect you from now on" he said gently, i could swear that i was about to faint at that very moment.

But instead i whipped out my phone and texted Rebecca that i wasn't coming, then Brian and i took a stroll out of the park laughing about what happened last night. We strolled all the way over to the road as we get into the taxi i realised how sweet Brian really is, my thoughts flushed away when my phone started to beep.

I took out my phone and seen the 5 miss calls from Rebecca, so i simply texted her 'don't worry we'll meet up tomorrow'.

We finally got to a stop, it was silent for a moment then Brian paid the fair and guided me to the hill.

"Where are we going?" I asked a bit worried.

"Up that hill"he responded

"Why"

"Have you ever been up this hill"

"No" i muttered under my breath

"Well then you will love it, once it reaches sunset"

He turned and kept climbing, and being  a stupid idiot, as i am i follow the drug dealer up the hill. I kept my phone in my hand ready to call for the police at any time, i wanted to make sure i was ready for any question the police were gonna ask.

"Where are we?"i asked

He gave me a smirk "why do you always ask questions?"

"You can't say much because your asking me a question right now."

"I can say much, see much, much, much." He responded with an annoying tone.

I was annoyed now so i kept going up with out him. I saw his boyish smile he gave me when i passed him, feeling proud that he got  me angry.

It took a while before we got to the top, but when we got there it was beautiful, the sun was half way down,the sky was purple the city looked very busy but small and quiet. The trees were waving side to side the birds were flying high in the beautiful sky, at that very moment i had a thing for nature.

"Wow" i stutter out of my mouth

"You like it?" Brain said making me jump a little, i nearly forgot he was here. He was lying down on the soft grass, using his jacket like a pillow. I clench my phone harder.

"Where did you say we were again?"

He looked at me giving me a smirk, making me slightly annoyed.

"Ratte hill" he responded

I walk over sitting about a good distance away from him.

"Why are you drug dealing?" I blurted out before i could stop myself.

He stared at me, a little angry.

"There you go with the questions again."

"You can't blame me your an interesting guy" my face flushed red as how cheesy that sounded, he arched an eyebrow at me. It took a while before he responded.

"It was an accident" i was going to ask how but i didnt want to seem nosey. He stared at me and continued.

"My friend..was a drug dealer" he said looking a little hurt. "He was meant to sell some drugs at some party but the cops showed up, he hid the drugs in my jacket. I got..out but he didn't he's in prison now, and since i had the drugs i had to finish the job...and now i just do it for a living."

I stare at him in complete horror "you didn't have to tell me that" i responded trying to comfort him. But he just glared at me. I turn away trying ignore the glare and lay beside him looking at the sunset before i knew it i drifted of in his arm.
