chapter 6

My mouth fell opened, this is really the week for surprises.

"A..a..baby" I began to stutter. "OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD" the face of joy soon whipped away and turned into a grin. How on earth did they have time to do that thing they had to do with work.

I am not a normal child.

"What gender is it?" i asked trying to erase that thought.

"We don't know yet" dad replied

"Well i'm naming her...or him"i commented in excitement.

"You can name the baby anything you  want" mum said happily. "I'm just glad your happy, Sheila wasn't very happy when she heard.

Sheila is my little sister, basketball is her life she is like 7 and she knows what she wants to be in future, I dont know about anything else but that is actually a gift. She is barely in the house, trains for basketball on the weekends, she has a best friend named winnie and is always on playdates with her and other days she just walks out of the house and who knows where she goes but she is always home before 5 and that basically gives mom the ok  for her to get special treatment.

Later that day i went to louise house and told the news, she helped pick names. Louise was competitive, and very sporty but she ate loads of sugar.

"Unisex names is better" louise argued

"Well i ain't calling her....or him a unisex name" i reply

"Please" she pleaded "i already thought of loads, alex,a---"

"Ah ah ah, who's sister is it?" I interrupted.

"No no no, its not fair, whenever i want parents to do it, they never do it on the right days" she said furiously, i start to giggle

"You make your parents do it" i blurted out through laughter, she started to giggle to.

" Nooo you know what I mean But please" she begged, i knew her very well and i knew she was never gonna drop this until i changed the subject.

"When is the ball again" i asked

"In two days" she replied "oh guess  what"

"What"

"You see Eric"

"The guy you've been crushing on for weeks, right" i reasurred"Yep" she paused then let out a big squeal "HE ASKED ME TO THE BALL"

We both let out a squeal

Louise mom busted into our room "where is the burglar... or kidnapper"

We busted out laughing but then she made us throw away the trash as punishment for scaring her.

Louise is sporty and that's why my like sister loved her but she lived for football  and as a side hobby she loved baking, louisae always said if football doesnt work out she will own a small Bakery in a small town. (Way to have your whole life planned)

"Hey look there's a trolley" she said, we ran up to check if there was any coins in it (this was definitely our daily hustle)

"Dang it no coins" I said

"Why don't you get in"

It was now I realised we were on top of a hill "I got into the cart and louise pushed lifting her legs off the ground and leaning on the cart. We squealed as the warm breeze blew against us.

Now it was time for the hard part.. stopping.. the cart drifted from side to side, our squeals turned into screams and then the cart ran into a rock toppling us on to the grass beside the path.

"Again Again Again" louise said jumping up and down in the air.

"I think I'm going to lay here for a bit.

On my way home i saw Brain, i tried to ignore him because everytime im with him he always made me stay out late, and i never seem to have the guts to say no.

"Hey Diana!" He shouted over to me" wait up" i started speed walking and i put the random ear phones in my ear tucking the other end in my pocket. I was about running when he turned me around with force.i begin to take out the ear plugs.

"Oh hi" i say innocently

He glared at me "hi" he finally said, panting.

"Whats up" i asked with a smirk

"Do you want to go to starbox" he said after calming his anger down.

"Look i ca--"

"Please" he interrupted

I close my eyes trying not to stare at the amazing eyes that were now glowing.

" no i can't, i can't, sorry" i finally said looking at my feet. I couldn't believe i said no. For the first time in forever i actually said no to Brian f*cking Hugo.
