Forgotten

Abandoned, alone, crumbling away

Wandering alone,

Dressed in rags

Feet with no shoes on this dusty road

Bags on backs,

And dirt on cheeks

They are the wandering.

They are the alone,

They are the abandoned,

They are the forgotten

Forgotten,

forgotten by society,

Forgotten by the important,

Forgotten by the people,

Forgotten by the somebody's,

To everyone else they are the

no-names,

They are the nameless

Nameless souls wandering the world, because they were abandoned and forgotten

They are the unwanted

Unwanted by all,

So they can only travel aimlessly,

With no destination.

Fated to be alone,

Fated to be not accepted

Fated to be judged by the people

Abandoned, alone, and crumbling away

They are alone
