Kissed by death

Death in white robes,

Sickle used to protect

Breath shallow,

fluttering eyes

Slowing heart,

and crimson flower

Death bends down,

kisses the sweating forehead

Cold body,

and pale blue skin

Eyes closed,

lips pale

Death steering the boat,

down the misty stream

Death will visit another tonight
