The beginning of the nightmare (part 2)

Violet's face went pale as she stared at the boy's face

Violet- Are you a ghost?

The boy laughed

???- You must be new, Well, I'm not a ghost, I just have the power to go through stuff

Violet- That sounds interesting

???- My name is Phantom

He extended his hand towards Violet

Violet- My name is Violet

She shakes Phantom's hand

Violet- Since I'm new can you show me where's the principal's office?

Phantom- sure

Phantom thinking:

"I wish I could just burn down this school..., She doesn't know what she's getting into..."

Violet thinking:

"I shouldn't have done that, I mean we just met..., But I didn't had a choice..."

Phantom guided Violet to the principal's office, He opened the door for her

Principal- Who is it?

Phantom- it's me Phantom, There's a new student in the school

Principal- Is that so?, I will assign her to be your partner, You can leave now

Violet- huh?, That's all?

Phantom- let's talk about it along the way...

Phantom guide Violet outside the principal's office

Phantom- Violet..., This school is not like any other school...

Violet- What do you mean?

Phantom sighted

Phantom- it's better if you see it for yourself...

Violet- okay...

As Phantom guide her to were they were going to sleep, Violet has an eerie feeling, Like a heavy presence in the air, But she decided to just ignore it and follow Phantom, Along the way she noticed that there were only groups of 2 students talking, Not more than that, And the 60% of the students looked like they haven't slept in days, At this point Violet started to feel uncomfortable...

IN THE APARTMENT

Phantom- According to the principal this should be were we are going to live

The apartment had 2 rooms, 1 bathroom, A small living room and kitchen

Phantom- The left one is a female's room, So that's yours...

Violet- Okay

Violet went inside her room and prepared herself for her first day of school

PHANTOM pov:

I sat down, I sighted and began to be worried, I didn't wanted to come to this school again, Being homeschooled was a thousand of times better to be honest, I stared at the floor

???- You don't look so happy

I looked up to see my sister, She didn't had any eyes, But she can still see, Weird right?, She can see because of the power we have, If not she could not see of course, At first I couldn't even look at her, But now I'm used to her look

Phantom- I think you have a pretty good idea about why I'm not happy

???- Poor little girl..., She has no idea about what's going on in this school, It makes me wanna cry...

Phantom- Lily, Has our parent's found a way to fix this?

Lily was my big sister's name

Lily- no..., Sorry little brother, You will have to just be careful...

VIOLET'S POV:

I cleaned as much as the time gave me, Which wasn't much to begin with, A took my family photo from my luggage

Violet- Mom, Dad, I will do my best

I hugged the photo, and placed it on my desk, as I put my uniform one which was really cute, Then I felt an eerie presence once again, I could swear that I heard some cries, I've searched for it, But it was impossible to find anything...,  Then I've felt a pressure on my heart all of the sudden...

Phantom's pov:

Lily an I stayed silent for a while

Lily- she's been on her room for a good while, remember that it isn't safe for her to stay alone on her room...

Phantom- I will check on her

Lily- alright then, I will take my leave

She disappeared as I knocked on Violet's door

Violet's pov:

I heard a knock on my door, And the pressure in my chest stopped, The cries stopped as well

Phantom- Hey..., Class is about to begin...

Violet thinking:

"Oh yeah..., I almost forgot about class..."

I opened up my door

Violet- sorry for taking soo long...

Phantom- it's ok, let's go

We left the apartment and walked on the school's hallway's, We were silent until Phantom decided to break the silence

Phantom- I'm going to tell you how this school works

Violet- okay

Phantom- Rule #1- Never be alone, especially at midnight, You should always be accompanied by me

Violet-- huh?

Phantom- I didn't made the rules

Violet- ...

Phantom- Rule #2, You can only talk to your partner, Don't speak to the other students, teachers, staff member, Whatever you need just pick it up and don't return it, Unless it's your partner's stuff,

Rule #3, if you are sick stay on your room, no need for an excuse or anything like that, And that's basically all the rules...

Violet- what kind of rules are that?

Phantom- right now you will not understand, But maybe later you will...

Since Phantom didn't seemed to be able to answer my questions now I decided to give up

Violet- okay...

We entered the classroom, Me and Phantom sat together on the same table of course, I curiously decided to look at the other students, and as Phantom's rule was accurate, The students that were in groups of 2 only talked to their partner, No one else, The teachers seemed to be giving class to the air, They never asked if we ad any questions or anything, They just kept going with the class, At lunchtime it was the same, The students grabbed what they wanted to eat, They didn't even looked at the staff, I began to have a bad feeling in my gut as the day continued, Class finished, I went to my room, as I took a shower I heard the cries again, I decided to not last long in the showers and went to my room, and the time to sleep I went to bed and closed my eyes, The room suddenly went cold, My body was stiffening, I couldn't move, I heard cries again, My chest was starting to be heavy, I opened up my eyes and saw a corpse on the roof, It screamed and I screamed back, I felt paralyzed and tears flowed down my cheeks

Phantom's POV:

(At the time when Violet was still in the shower)

I sat down on my bed..., Tired..., I put on my headphones and grabbed my tablet, I looked outside as I listened to the music, Thinking on what should I draw, I became so distracted that I forgot that Violet was alone, I quickly ran to her room, She was screaming and crying, I ran to her and hugged her

Phantom- Violet, Calm down, I'm here

She hugged me tightly, She was trembling of fear

Violet- I..., I saw...

Phantom- it's ok..., I'm here now...

I just met her, But it pained me seeing her so scared, I waited for her to calm down as I was still hugging her

Violet- c..can you sleep with me tonight?

Phantom- sure

I laid down beside her, After at least 2 hours she fell asleep, But since I was a different story I couldn't sleep, I had to stay awake all night

Phantom- it seems that the monsters are coming back...
