"A loyal person who won't cheat! And, don't say things like that to people that easily."

"But I only say this to you though. Can't I?"

"U-ugh. Fine! But you need to promise me to only say things like this to the person you like in the future, okay!?"

"Yeah. Of course."

"Now, let's get to work. Tell me about magic as much as you can."

He finished explaining about common magic types pretty quickly since there isn't much to know about it, and Lucas did say that I learn quite fast too.

I wonder why the game didn't mention much about magic though, perhaps it's because the main thing you need to accomplish is to raise up your intimacy with the capture targets and choose one of them in the end, but of course, there is the reverse harem route.

Now that I think about it... did the game include a hidden route? Well, I'll probably die, again.

I sighed remembering the game scenario wherein the Villainess got murdered or sent to another dimension. Such a tragic life.

Why would she want to ruin her life like that? And for someone who practically hates her? I do understand that she's spoiled but it's still too much.

"Are you tired? You can rest if you want to, I can teach you about magic any time."

"Hey, Lucas. Is there an Adventurers' Guild or something?"

There should be, right? After all, this game is a fantasy type. With all the magic and swords, there should at least be something like an adventurer's guild or merchant's guild.

"Oh course there is! There are also Assassin's Guilds and so on. Why do you ask? ...Don't tell me that you're thinking of joining the Adventurer's Guild!?"

"You could say that. I have to master the use of magic and swords to survive."

"But will your father allow you to join? You do realize that you're a duke's daughter, right?"

"Of course I do know that, that's why I'm thinking of joining with a different identity. That way, no one would suspect anything."

"How are you supposed to sneak out? I think telling your father would be a better option than sneaking out."

"Is that so? I can't argue with that, but will father let me join though? I don't think he will."

Of course I would think that, Alice's father adores her so much to the point that he would even oppose the Emperor and the Crown Prince when Alice is getting killed.

The result? Isn't it obvious? The Valentine family would get beheaded for being accused of treason. In my past life, I didn't have a loving family, so I'll definitely do my best to protect my family in this life. Even if I have to lie to them.

"I've made up my mind. I have to join the Adventurer's Guild no matter what."

"If that's what you've decided, then I won't stop you."

"Thanks, Lucas."

"Well, how will you sneak out then?"

"Father isn't strict with where I go, I just have to tell him when I'll be back. Joining the guild shouldn't be a problem."

In fact, Alice's father doesn't restrict Alice. She can go out wherever and whenever she wants to. Such a great parent. Alice's mother is also a beauty, she reminds me of my mother in my past life.

"If you say so. Do you need me to come with you?"

"You will? That's great then!"

"If so, let's go to the Adventurer's Guild tomorrow to register our names."

"Okay."

I'll finally get to join the Adventurer's Guild! In my past life, I was curious about guilds. I played various types of games before, so places where strong people gather is intriguing.

"Fufufu~"

Without realising it, Lucas is currently looking at Alice weirdly.

Lucas went back to his mansion after finishing up our plans for tomorrow. Which means that I'll have nothing to do in the meantime.

Waiting to for dinner is... boring. I can't cook and eat whenever I want to. Additionally, there is absolutely nothing to do. There are no PCs, otome games, mobile games and many more that I can think of.

I don't understand how people in the past lived without entertainment.

I should find books to read in the library, before I die of boredom.

I read about it in the novel but I didn't think that it would be this big. There are countless rows of shelves, and each shelf are filled with books. It is organized neatly as well. It reminds me of the National Library that I once visited in my previous life.

I doubt that a Duke's library would have novels. Nevertheless, I'll walk around first.

I've walked around for quite a while now. As expected, there are no novels to be found in this huge library. I found magic books, alchemy books, books about herbs.

But it's just the first floor though. I should try my luck and see if I can find novels.

Advanced magic books, rare medicinal herbs, the history of the empire...

And still no signs of a novel. Well, there's nothing I can do about it. I'll just pick up a few books and read it.

After about two hours, Emma called me to have dinner.

After finishing dinner, I went back to my room and prepared to go to bed early.

"Emma, I'm going to bed now. Goodnight."

"Goodnight, Alice-sama."

Finally, tomorrow will be the day I join the Adventurer's Guild. To protect my family, and prepare for the villainess ending!
