"Grey, you have arrived," the voice of the prince was raspy, only then did Frank realise too that his feathers were too dull for a young fflam despite him being bigger than the others. He looks at him with his mouth open, Gretal looks at him with a grim expression.
"Did they trouble you again?" they ask.
"It's not their fault," the prince sighs," I'm too weak to succeed the throne, it's only natural that they worry," he replies.
"Worrying does not involve hurting you like this," Gretal replies sternly. Frank got the gist from what they said what happened. He empathize with him immediately what is up with tough love here?
"You're here," he ruffles his feathers a bit," means you've decided to side with the machines," he replies. Frank looks at Gretal, even if he couldn't read their expression, he still had to try, their expression did change but not to one he can identify immediately.
"I've come to destroy this planet, a warning shot to the universal corporation," Gretal replies.
"A warning shot usually doesn't involve death," Frank mutters, Gretal didn't say anything to that.
"I didn't think I'd see another humanoid in my lifetime," the prince muses, standing up he seems bigger than when he was nestling so Frank can't help but feel his neck ache.
"I'll take you away, no one has to know that you're still alive," they reply.
"I can't leave my parents, and you know that," the prince replies.
Gretal nods and pulls out an item. Frank was about to knock it out of their hand but they grab it with the other and points the device at the prince. Shooting a blinding flash of light, the prince was gone, replaced with a smaller looking prince. Frank was still in shock when Gretal carries the prince out of the room, dragging Frank out as well since he didn't seem like he was about to move.
Shoving him through the small hole before walking out themselves, Greg perks at them and quickly sat up from a body of a ince.
"Did any of them escape?" Gretal asks as they looks onto the ground where other Inces lay.
"Nope," Greg pats his hand filled with dust.
Frank is getting the feeling that he should make a move soon or no one on this planet will make it out alive.
Fuki looks at him, a look that is slightly reassuring for him right now. She seems to have sided with him a lot so he could trust her a little more than the others. He feels kind of bad since Gretal did save him countless of times but it's one of those, bad in the long term kind of relationship.
Fuki grabs a gun from the floor, all of them were more focused on getting out to see Fuki and Frank break off into another path. Running to warn the king, he didn't know how to undo the spell they put on the prince but he guessed they could find a way somehow.
They finally reach where most of the guards were gathered. Frank was about to warn them when the place shakes, knocking him onto the floor.
"What the-" he starts. Is it him or is it getting hot in here?
"The boiler!" one exclaims ahead. Frank then knew what happened... they came from the boiler, the heat was too strong, it mustn't have felt the difference as it was hot to him anyway, but the corridors that were once cool were also becoming stuffy.
'No way! We parked exactly above the engine room!' boiler, engine room same thing. He pulls Fuki towards the hangar to find their escape, it seemed that it was too late for them to stop the doom of the planet given they were the ones who actually set it off.
Fuki in the end was the one who leads him to a ship he assumes that she was familiar with, before he could climb into the ship, a hand grabs him and pulls him off the ship. Fuki turns around only to be knocked out.
"What the-" he curses and turns to look up at Gretal who looks rather calm despite the place about to blow up. They turn towards the open doors from the hangar, their ship is driven in, Merquri tosses Fuki over her shoulder and climbs onto the ship. Greg waves at Frank eagerly who is unable to squirm out of Gretal's hold.
"H-" he wanted to scream but Gretal stuff a bread, something he has never tasted at all since he last left Earth into his mouth. He unintentionally silent himself to eat since he was hella hungry, since no one hit him, he had no choice but to stay seated as the ship escapes the chaotic planet.
The first question he asked, much to his self hatred, was where they got the bread from. Gretal silently grabs a bag to show him. It's an empty bag on the outside but the inside has a large assortments of bread he hasn't seen in years. He can't help but think they may go back to the planet to buy these... only he had seen the state of the world before he left earlier.
Do they have a farm somewhere? Frank nibbles at a creamy filled croissant, slightly drooling, if they were to bribe him with delicious food, he might be tempted to help them. Though help them in what he didn't know...
"Say... do you need me to do anything?" he asks.
"Just sit yourself down and eat your food," Gretal scolded. Frank frowns in return and blew them a raspberry.
He feels the ship tremble a bit and he looks out the window, eyes widening. From afar it may seem like nothing is wrong, but he can tell the planet isn't going to fair well.
"Do you know what you've done? They'll never forgive you for this," Frank replies. Again, they stay silent as they drive away from the system, the ship jerks, forcing him to seat. He needed to do something while he was here, surely he can do something to stop the universal corporation from igniting a universal war.
He glances at Fuki who looks at him, he can tell she was a little impatient and if he didn't do anything, she was going to...
'I don't know, just a hunch,' he thinks to himself.
