Twins being dorks

It was an early Saturday morning in summer, no homework, no projects, no annoying people breathing too loud (Matthew I'm looking at you). It was wonderful! Sandy didn't have anything to do that day besides eat cereal in their pajamas while watching reruns of cartoons that, they believe we're, the best creation of mankind and youngsters nowadays have garby compared to these shows. Definitely a hot take and most likely controversial opinion to have but whatever cartoons! Yes they're aware this is a very 10 years old activity to have and they are 18 years old and in HIGH SCHOOL, but hush it makes them happy.

Sandy slides down the railing in their hot pink Hello Kitty pajama bottoms, running to the kitchen to quickly grab a bowl of fruit loops and sitting themselves on the couch before the cartoons started. From seven to eight were boring adult shows on Saturdays, but from eight to about three were old cartoons; the best kind of cartoons. If they flicked the channel, they could also find cartoons from when they were a kid but they preferred the so claimed "retro cartoons". The from their childhood were also good but the retro shows just hit them differently. Sandy turned on the tv and luckily He-man was coming on, perfect. They obviously had favourites out of all the shows, and He-man was one of them! Teenage mutant Ninja turtles had to be the runner up for first place. Something about a team of individuals fighting against someone or someones was just super cool to Sandy.

An hour or two had passed and Sandy was still watching cartoons, as you do. Their cereal had been finished a long time ago and a bit ago had gotten some fruit to eat as a snack, and the fake gummy fruit was either real fruit like oranges. Scooby Doo had just started playing, when Sandy's twin Dakota had begun walking down the stairs from their room. It had been Dakota's weekend off in the last month, they had been working at their part-time job more to buy a new gaming system for themselves. It worried Sandy how overworked their twin was, but had no say in the matter. "Dude what're you doing up this early? It's a Saturday, don't people usually sleep in" Dakota asked, wiping the sleep from their eyes since they just woke up. "True but the good cartoons are on at this hour so..I awake, you're free to join me" Sandy giggled, leading over the back of the couch to face Kota. The other twin shrugged joining them on the couch "why not? Have nothing else to do". The two of them ended up spending the entire day watching cartoons and movies, their mom complained when she got home from work but it was worth the lecture.
