Terrible Father

"Stop it, Ayan! Oh, my God, I can't stop blushing!!"

"I often have that effect."

"Cocky much?"

"I remember you fell for it." He adds tantalisingly, "Head over heels."

...

"Ayan," I say gently, "It's been ten minutes already. Let him go. His hands must be hurting!"

I'm sitting cross-legged beside Tara, who has calmed down and is busy playing Candy Crush on my phone even though it's about to die soon; no matter how many times I charge my phone, it's useless as she starts using it without my permission and doesn't put it to charge afterwards. Kushagra's toys lie littered around us on the floor, which Tara refuses to play with, and I, honestly, don't blame her.

But I do blame Ayan. He's being way too strict with Ku. Ayan should sit Kushagra down and explain to him why what he said and did was wrong, but he just won't listen to me.
