The Wedding (III)

"No matter how badly a day might go, you always remind me how the next will be better."

...

The dance floor has been cleared and Emily stands in the middle with her back opposite to us. Sara takes me in the middle of the crowd as I refuse to stand in front. She relents, causing us to stand next to a few of Emily's second cousins, who have their hands raised and are standing on their toes so that they can catch the bouquet. I roll my eyes at them; it takes more than catching a bouquet to get hitched.

Psst, at least first find a guy who is willing to marry you.

Bored with their squeals, I look over my shoulder as I catch Ayan's eye. He winks at me when I scrunch my nose at him, throwing my hands up in the air. He laughs, giving me a thumbs-up before leaning forward in his chair and blowing me a kiss.
