Ayan's POV (Ch. 137)

"I shift a little, and our eyes meet as I remove the lock of her hair away from my face, pushing it behind her ear.

God, she's beautiful. I stare at her with parted lips, my eyes instinctively moving to her lips. Shakily, I raise my hand, running my fingers lightly over her extremely soft cheek, causing her to visibly gulp and shut her eyes."

...

"Why were you outside my house?" we both ask at the same time before smiling at each other.

"You first," Naira says at the same time I do.

"No, you first!" I exclaim at the same time she does.

"Stop copying me, Ayan!" she grumbles in an irritated voice, her mouth lifting in a frown that makes me want to give her a peck on those lips.

Ahem, I need to stop thinking of forbidden things.

"I'm not copying you, Naira," I say calmly, even though my thoughts are flooded with her. "I'm just asking you to tell me first."
