XXXII. Wicked Objects.

After Vanilla and Rowie waved Sasha goodbye, who declined to company them, saying that he had to play that day and night on Alma Vista Bar, the girl and puppy began their way to the graveyard.

It was located at the northern road, about one-third of a mile separated from Merry Oaths. The pavement road was surrounded by dense woodlands that the winter had stripped away from their foliage.

Vanilla and Rowie arrived. The cemetery was built on a wide hill relatively free of dying trees, with its perimeter of about a football courtyard surrounded by cobblestone walls and rusty, iron fences of colonial work.

The sky got cloudy and the soil could not be darker. To her surprise, two police patrols were stationed outside of the graveyard, with a forensic car just departing as she arrived.

Now, what did just happen? The entrance was covered by yellow tape. Could this have something to do with the screaming those men mentioned?
