In an ancient town of catholic roots in the Pre-War America of 1935, strange events and phenomena often manifest in the worst of their forms. 

Vanilla Land, a 16 years old outcast and weirdo with access to magical plushes —ancient and powerful totems capable of summoning powerful spirits and powers for its users— loves to explore wicked places, investigate mysteries, and even fight horrid abominations when necessary. 

And it's in one of these explorations where she suddenly meets her abrupt when she and a powerful apparition destroy each other. The result? A powerful, demonical entity is impressed by her actions and gives her a second opportunity to live again.

She must perform a series of tasks for such an entity —not without getting rewarded with more powerful artifacts and plushes— but in the end, everything points out that there's an ancient source of power capable of redefining reality. And she's not the only one trying to reach it...

Contracts With the Void

Well, that was surely a bad situation. She stared at the twinkling ceiling and pouted, that was the place where she didn't spot the giant beast. Damn spiders.

Spiders! Witzy! That was right. In order to use a plush, she just needed to be close to it, not necessarily touch it with her hands. She gasped for air against the tightening trap.

Although the special words for using the doll weren't written anywhere nor they were specific and fixed; they must pledge to the spirit, and cater to it in a way that sounded like the most appropriate for the animal inside.

Once you pronounced the words for the first time, they'd always be the ones that would be needed to use the plush; that's why it was useless to steal a plush from another plush user without knowing what words they had put onto it. The only way of resetting the words was if the owner died.
