CLXVIII. The Trial of Worth.

Their last four-point star tunnel was the longest they transversed —and also the strangest. Each time Vanilla took a step further, she felt as if she was walking backward instead. Her vision blurred, and her intestines turned on, but the mysterious Q —who she could not put her eyes off from— told her to not stop no matter what happened.

It was as if the girl already knew that place. Something that Vanilla found suspicious, but decided to follow in any way. It was as if the four vertical walls were contracting on themselves, and if they stopped moving, they'd get crushed between them forever.

She even let Lancelot grab her by the shoulder and arm. He could be playful and kind of a pervert, but even he irradiated the feeling of discomfort and nearly-exploding paranoia on his boney facial expression. Together, they advanced all the way ahead like a pair of British royals.
