Love Triangle?

"You know I'm still wondering how you will handle when your girlfriend start doubting." I looked at Harris, who's just looking at the ground. "Hey!"

"How should I call you? That's my biggest problem." He finally looked at me.

"The heck? Call me Talia."

"How could I?"

"Well, you used to call me 'hey'." I raised an eyebrow at him.

"That was before I knew you were the Princess."

"How could you worry on how to address me when you're this disrespectful talking to me." I shook my head playfully. "Just call me whatever you want, I don't have a problem with that." He stood up and walked towards me. His hands went up to my head. "Now what are you doing?"

"I should say sorry for what Elisse had done to you." I swatted his hands.

"Who's Elisse?"

"My girlfriend."

"Oh! You know her actions corresponds decapitation." He was frozen.

"W-what?"

"Sit." I mentioned him to sit beside me but he decided to sit in front of me. "You going to school this afternoon?"

"Yes."

"Ok then. Let's meet tomorrow."

"His Highness, the Crown Prince told me to bring you with me."

"What? Don't mind him, your my royal guard not his."

"Is that so?" I laughed at him.

"No. The Crown Prince's words is most powerful over anyone's but from the King's." I told him.

"Your Highness, your food is ready." Lily cut in.

"Let's eat first, my trip earlier got me all exhausted." I told Harris and led him to the dining. We ate quietly, the only thing we can hear is the sound as the spoons hit our plates. Why is he not talking to me?

"Hey don't act like a stranger. Why don't you talk to me how you always did?" I thought it would be exciting and fun that he was chosen as my royal guard. Is he gonna act like this every time?

"I'm not acting like a stranger. I just started treating you as a royalty, as a ruler." He said not even looking at me.

"First, do royalties not deserve someone who they can talk to normally? Does it always have to be a Princess and a civilian or a King and his subject?" Can't I really have friends if I'm the Princess? "And I'm not a ruler, never will be." He didn't responded.

I sighed. "Let's keep going if you're done."

"After you, Your Highne-"

"Stop! Calling me that." I glared at him. I walked towards the way Dean and I came. "You know the way?"

"There's a way here?"

"How'd you come here?"

"By the main gate?" Of course he went by there.

"Lucky you. You can go there."

"You can't?"

"I think I can remember the way out." I walked towards my lawn.

"I don't understand why we have to go this way. Can't we just go back to the main palace?"

"You can... But I can't." We stared at each other for a moment.

"Why can't you?" Why can't I?

"It's funny hearing someone ask me that question when I have asked myself the same million times before." Confusion filled his eyes.

"Should I ask more or this is up to where the line extends." I just smiled at him.

"Don't think that you can escape punishment of arriving late at class just because you have connection with the school's dean." I joked, trying to change topics.

"You know they never really gave punishment." We both laughed. I once came late and the mentor didn't mind. "But wait until you meet Sir Lint."

"Who's that?" We both started walking.

"You have Ms. Azura now, right? When you reach senior, it would be him."

"I don't even know what's Ms. Azura's role." I admitted.

"How do I explain this... She's the one who teaches you your major subjects right?" I nodded. "Because she's like... The head of the junior's council. So in general, she's your adviser."

"Oh. Really? That's why they said she was the one who managed my issue with the one I went up against at the brawl." I should've realized it sooner. And she was also the one who brought me to the clinic.

"Oh and about that, can I ask what happened back there?" I stopped on tracks.

"Have you realized that you are talking to me informally since I don't know when?" I chuckled.

"Isn't that what you wanted?" He sounded nervous.

"I think this trip would be less exhausting and boring." We arrived at the concrete wall with two faerie guards.

"A trip with Aren is boring?"

"You're like asking me if the sun is hot. Our three hours adventure felt like a day." We passed the gate and now we're at the forest.

"Three hours?" He asked shocked.

"I didn't told you, did I?"

"I got here for just half hour."

"I'm pathetic, aren't I?" His eyes soften.

"I didn't mean to offend you or- wait! Three hours!? What time are we going to arrive at school?" I grinned at him.

"I'm giving you the honor to skip classes with the Princess."

"What the heck!?"

"Now you're throwing profanity and yelling at me? Is classes more important or the Princess?"

"If I didn't know you're the Princess, I would forever think of you as a crazy girl."

I put my hand on my chest and started acting. "I'm so glad you found out. I should thank you for that. As a reward, I would announce you... As my royal guard." He laughed soundly. "Sometimes I also think that I'm crazy."

"You sure about skipping even the afternoon classes?"

"I don't really want to go to school today." My last interaction with Blaze came flashing back into my mind. Our almost kiss, his face inches from mine. He already kissed me back then but every time, it just feels new.

"Boy problems?"

"Blaze? No!" Why would he think like that? He laughed harder. "What?"

"I never mentioned Blaze. So I guess you were just thinking of him." Oh really? Why should I say his name? Do I li- no! No Sheen!

"Well you said boy, and he and Siche are the only guy I know." Yeah, that's the reason.

"How's it going with Blaze?"

"What do you mean? Nothing's going on, even in the future."

"I don't have eyes for no reason. You two are always together."

"You just saw us together once."

"You were sweet back there on the open field yesterday."

"You saw us playing?"

"And you were with him when you came to rescue the two dark faes." Oh I suddenly remember how her girlfriend pulled my hai- wait what?

"I was with who?"

"Blaze."

"I wasn't."

"You were."

"No."

"I clearly saw it."

"Seriously?"

"No lie. So tell me what's going on between you two?" Is there something going on between us? I don't want to jump into conclusions. I won't get myself hurt and...

"He has Sasha." I faced the ground.

"Sasha? You mean Sasha, the girl you were always with? I thought she was Siche's." What?

"First of all, I'm not always with her. And what do you mean she's Siche's?"

He smirked at me. "Don't tell me you were being jealous at her without knowing that."

"Without knowing what?"

"It's no secret that Siche likes Sasha."

"What!?" Is this a love triangle? Siche likes Sasha but there is something going on with her and Blaze. What a messed up friendship.

"I thought they were dating now. No?"

"What!?"

"Well that's what I've heard." How can I not know it when he even knows?

"I thought Blaze likes Sasha?" I still remember the first time I saw them together.

"Nah. I think he likes someone but not Sasha."

"Really? Who's someone?" My brain is filled with questions that I know I will never get. "How'd you know he likes someone? You're not even close with him."

"I'll answer you if you answer me."

"What's your question?"

"You like Blaze?"

"What!? No! Are you crazy? No that's not a question. You really are crazy. Why would you think that? I only know him for about two weeks. Talking or thinking about him doesn't mean I like him. You-"

"I just figured out who makes you babble nonsense. I just need to find out who makes you smile and brighten up your mood. Then I can report it back to the Crown Prince." He chuckled.

"You two are the same." I rolled my eyes at him.
