Chapter 5 The Hogwarts Express

It was September the first. Today was the day that I was off to Hogwarts I got dressed in some black ripped jeans a green day t shirt and a Jack Skellington hoodie expecting Kay to also dress casually but nope. I met him outside with my suitcase and my cage containing Finn who wouldn't shut up. "Éirígí suas" I told him then I saw Kay. He was stood there in a white shirt done buttons done apart from the top one,his hair fell over his scar and his right eye but it was taken care of. His tight shirt was untucked from his jeans which were a deep dark blue and held up by a black belt with a snake buckle. And on his feet he had delicious oxfords clean and shining in the morning sun. God he's attractive. "Hello earth to the moon are you receiving me" I turned around and there was Blu dressed in a blue checked shirt and had the same colour blue jeans and surprise surprise Blue Nike air maxes. "Wow really living up to your name ain't ya" I said to Blu "Hey leave me alone" she giggled as we piled into Miss Morgause's camper van "Right hold on" Miss Morgause said as she pulled the pushed this weird lever and then we...we flew! We were flying over Milton Keynes in no time and in London at eight so we killed an half an hour going back down Diagon Alley looking at the Quidditch equipment. Which Kay poured over, me not so much but I just loved watching him mumble and awe at the different brooms and such. He was like a kid in a toy shop. We then, after our half an hour was up, went to Kings Cross station and had to... run against a wall? Even my parents were confused at first but then I felt a hand on mine I turned to see Kay holding onto my trolley as well as his "You ready moony?" He looked at me and said with a smirk "Erm.. sure" I managed to splutter out me and him ran full pelt at the wall splitting platforms 9 and 10 with Blu doing the same behind, I shut my eyes just as we were about to hit the wall. But it didn't come instead I felt like I pasted through a cloud and then I saw it a gleaming red steam engine with black highlights and a panel that named the engine itself. I hugged my mum and dad promising the to send Finn with a letter every week if I could, I have dyslexia so I don't know if I would be able to understand or write letters. I checked  my suitcases and waved goodbye to mum and dad as Kay finished up with his parents and joined Blu and I in a train compartment and shut the door behind him. We sat and chatted mostly about how we were gonna beat the crap out of Blu's recent ex who had dumped her over the summer for reasons we kept on guessing at with the leading one being that she had to move to America, this came from Kay so I assume that's what happened. 

We talked until we heard the best words I could've ever heard in my life, it was as if god had descended from the heavens and announced his presence and those blessed words were... "Anything from the trolley?" I quickly slammed open the door expecting to see crisps and sandwiches and  other snacks but then I realised that it would've been MAGICAL SNACKS!!! "What have you got?" I asked "Well dear I hope you've got a lot of time" "Nah he'll just have chocolate frogs Bertie Botts every flavour beans two pumpkin pasties pumpkin juice and more chocolate frogs" Kay said finally getting his nose out of the Sherlock Holmes book he had been reading. "OOOO" i said hearing awe fill my voice. "Yes please" I said handing over 15 galleons and intern receiving 2 sickles back and two boxes of beans two pasties and five chocolate frogs. "If you find any sunflower flavoured beans could I have them?" Kay asked "Excuse me?" I asked "When they say every flavour they do mean it" Blu said looking up from the newspaper she was reading called the Daily Prophet. I still hadn't got used to the moving picture that were inserted onto every page. "What's new?" I asked Blu opening a chocolate frog immediately biting it's head of knowing the chaos about to ensue due to having one the weekend we spent in Diagon Alley for my birthday, "Well someone has broken into the ministry and there's this big whohar in the records office about past death eaters, but the Chudley Cannons are on a winning streak and are about to go against the Wimbourne Wasps but apart from that it's all celebrity scandals and what not" "ughhh why is it all about celebrities I mean do they know how important that game is?" Kay butted in "I mean I need the wasps to win they have been going strong ever since last January but nooo the cannons deserve it I mean come on" We let him rant for about half an hour whilst I was eating all the sweets and stuuf I had bought from the train then we heard the announcement "We will be arriving at Hogsmeade station in fifteen minutes please change into your robes" So we put on our robes over our muggle clothes and started talking excitedly about the Hogwarts houses we would be put into as the train pulled into the station. We then heard "First years this way please" The person that had said it was very odd even in the wizarding world. He was dressed very smartly although the clothing he had one was stained with what looked like oil and coffee. He had a top hat placed on his head with steam punk goggles sitting on the side of the hat. He had a white shirt on, though it didn't look white anymore, with a black waistcoat on top of the white shirt. Around his waist he had a gold and scarlet scarf into which a wand sat perched on the edge. "I'm professor Artemis Mercury and I'm here to collect you lot and take you to the castle" He said with a wide grin. He seemed a very happy man but then there were times when we were walking up to the path into Hogwarts that he'd pull down his sleeve and look around at the students. There was something off about him and I think Kay and Blu noticed it too.
