Bucky

"What about me?" Bucky asked walking towards the, everyone seemed to hold there breathe. Aj had her back to the door but she knew exactly who it was. 

"Oh, Bucky! This girl has the same name as you, is that not weird." Thor said clearly not understanding the situation.

"Thor you idiot," Loki said pinching the arch of his nose. Thor looked confused until he put the pieces together. Before Bucky could ask what he meant Nat came through the door, Aj never turned around. 

"Hey, guys. Why is everyone staring at Barnes?" Nat asked stopping to look at the scene in front of her. Steve and Tony were trying to calm Aj down who had started silently crying. The rest of the team sat in silence staring at Bucky.

"Guys, what the hell is going on? And who is that?" Bucky asked now very concerned. Without turning around Aj calmed herself down enough to say,

"Hi, Buck." Bucky froze dropping his bag. He waited as Aj finally stood up and turned around. Buckys' eyes glossed over before running and picking Aj up in a hug. He dropped to his knees not letting go of Aj. They sat on the ground crying into each other's shoulders not saying a word.

"I thought I would never see you again," Bucky said through tears. Tony wanted to speak up about that but Steve stopped him.

"Well I'm here now, thanks to Steve and Tony," Aj said finally separating their embrace. Bucky looked over at Tony and Steve.

"Thank you guys so much," he paused before looking back at them, "How did she stay alive?" He asked clearly lying since Aj had told them about Hydra.

"Bucky, don't lie to us, after we got her memories back she told us about working with you," Steve said making Bucky look down.

"Sorry Steve, I just didn't want you going after her and it ending in a dead-end. I know you love her and so do I," Steve blushed before sitting back down, "But I couldn't let you do that to yourself." 

"Well she's here now, plus she has her own room, and she's apart of the team," Tony said as Bucky, Nat, and Aj finally went over to sit down.

"Hey I know you from somewhere, don't I?" Nat asked while she put some potatoes on her plate.

"I don't know anyone here other than, Bucky, Steve, and Tony," Aj said confused.

"Put your napkin over your mouth and nose," Nat said still looking at her a little sideways. Her eyes widened as the napkin covered Ajs mouth and nose. "The Winter Shadow!" Nat half yelled making everyone look up at Aj and Natasha.

"What the heck is the Winter Shadow?" Scott asked through a mouthful of food. Hope looked at him with disgust before shaking her head, he just shrugged his shoulders.

"Remember when we first heard about Barnes, and I had said he was a ghost story. Well, she was his other half." Nat pointed at Aj, "I only ever met them once, that mission I told you about before. Anyways everyone called her the Winter Shadow, well because she was pretty much his shadow." Nat explained.

"Man that's a pretty cool name and that's coming from the person with the coolest name here, Falcon," Sam said grinning.

"Ohhh please," Tony laughed. Aj liked finally being apart of something. She finally had Bucky back and was finally apart of a family.

"Hey, how old are you anyway?" Clint asked,

"Well Bucks 100, I'm 99, that makes Aj, 98," Steve said.

"A beautiful 98-year-old might I add," Loki said making Bucky and Steve glare at him.

"Oh, so aren't that much younger than Bucky?" Wanda asked

"Hey now we have 3 senior citizens." Tony joked.

"Technically on earth, Thor and Loki are also seniors," Hope said almost matter of factly. Tony laughed even harder.

"Man our team is so old," he commented making everyone laugh.

"Hey, Aj?" Scott asked, "How did you know my power? We've never met." 

"Tony briefed me on everyone at this table, and also on T'Challa and Shuri, but I already met them." She explained. "Steves a super soldier so is Bucky, and technically I am too but I also have powers," Bucky gave her a weird look before remembering Hydra experimenting on her. She never used her powers in the field unless necessary, Hydra didn't want S.H.I.E.L.D finding her. "Natasha is like the best agent Sheild had, Clint has his bow and arrow thingy, Rhodey and Tony have the suits, Bruce has his other half," everyone laughed. "Thor is a god with lightning and a hammer, Loki is the god of mischieve," Loki winked at her when she went over his name making her blush and making Bucky glare again. "Wanda has like telepathy, Scott has his shrinking suit, Hope has the wasp suit, Sam has his wings, Vision is a robot with an infinity stone, Carol is like a glowstick or something, Peter has his webs and stuff, T'Challa is a cat, and Shuri is just really smart." 

"I don't mean to be a bother, Allie Jane, but I prefer the term android." Vision said apologetically.

"Allie Jane, what a pretty name," Loki said making Bucky finally say something.

"God Thor, would you keep your brother from hitting on my sister?" Bucky said fed up with Loki. Already getting back his protective brother instincts.

"Loki stop," Thor growled making Loki laugh,

"Whatever you say, Brother," he responded.

"Steve it looks like you have some competition," Tony said loud enough for everyone to hear making him blush and look down as a few people laughed.

"I was just trying to complement our new guest," Loki said throwing a wink at Aj. Bucky started to get up but Aj put a hand on his shoulder pushing him back into his seat.

"Its ok Buck, leave em be." She gave Bucky a small smile before he sighed and went back to glaring at Loki.

"Anyways, how long are you guys staying?" Sam asked looking at Thor and Loki.

"Well We need to wait for Carol to get back here, we have some questions plus we need to work out some strategies for something," Thor said while drinking an entire glass of beer.

"We will be our of your hair in about a week or so," Loki added smirking when he saw Bucky still glaring at him, "Aj dear, would you get your guard dog to stop glaring at me?" Tony's eyes widened as he tried to hold in a laugh. 

"Loki! That's enough!" Thor yelled at his brother. Tony noticed Aj looking a little uncomfortable probably because she thought she was the cause of the fight.

"Hey, Wanda? Do you know when Peter said he would be over tonight I want him to meet our newest Avenger." Tony asked hoping to switch up the topic but was actually wondering.

"He said he would be over around 8:00 to hang out with us." She answered.

"How old is Peter?" Aj asked.

"He's what? 16?" Steve answered cleaning up the plates.

"Yeah, hey since Capsicle is doing dishes how about everyone goes to their rooms relax and when Peter gets here we watch some movies or something?" Tony suggested,

"I'll stay and help Steve," Aj said as she started to pick up some more plates.

"No, you've had a really long week, Sam and I will do them," Steve said giving her a smile.

"Hey what the heck man?" Sam said throwing his hands in the air before Steve gave him a look of 'I need to talk to you'. "Oh ok, fine." he gave in walked over to the sink. Aj nodded before heading to the elevator with everyone.

"Well anyways thanks for diner everyone. We're going to head out." Hope waved as she and Scott left the building.

"Oh Aj, I had Friday create a new room for you," Tony said excitedly. Sam and Steve stayed downstairs to clean up.

"What going on Cap? You gave me a weird look earlier." Sam said implying when Steve gave him the look of 'I need to talk to you'.

"I just- ugh what is up with Loki?" Steve said annoyed with how Loki was acting during dinner.

"Are you mad because he was hitting on Aj?" Sam asked smirking when Steve blushed.

"No I- I am mad because he just met Aj and he was making her feel uncomfortable." Steve looked away.

"You sure it didn't have to do with the fact Aj blushed a few times when Loki was flirting with her." Sam raised an eyebrow, "Look Steve it's obvious you have feelings for her, she's finally back in your life, tell her before its too late." Sam suggested.

"You're right, maybe I should. Wait, I'll go do it right now!" Steve said turning around before Sam stopped him.

"Dude, this ain't a princess movie, wait till tonight. I am not doing these dishes all by myself." Sam laughed.

"Ok Aj, this your room," Tony said opening the door to Aj's room. There was a king-sized bed, a desk, a couch, and a tv, and her own bathroom. The window overlooked the forest behind the tower. Aj turned around and hugged Tony.

"Thank you so much!" she let go to admire the room some more.

"You have 2 neighbours, 1 is Bucky and then the other is Nat, and across the hall is Loki and Steve, who is at the end of the hall. Don't worry Loki and Thor aren't here that often anyways. So ill leave you to it." Tony shut the door and let Aj relax for a bit. She looked at the clock, she had an hour before everyone was going to be downstairs.
