CHAOS?

They broke the hug and looked at the phone. It was Archie's dad. He picked up his mobile and hanged up the call. After that he just switched his phone off and everybody followed suit. Amy didn't understand their strange behaviour. They all settled down on the comfy couch and sofa and so did Amy, looking questioningly at everyone of them.

Em started,"Don't look at us like that Amy. Its just... actually, you can watch the news." And she turned on the T.V. and switched to the news channel. They were the headlines. People seemed far too happy to have them back. They were talking about the band's return. Amy looked back at her friends with a horrified expression and said,"and your parents....." She trailed off but everyone nodded and sighed.

Amy continued," OMG!! I'm so sorry guys." She was on the verge of crying. Steph hugged her.

Em said," Don't be. We'll get moving on soon. We'll organise a press conference and announce our return with you being our manager. For now, I'm exhausted so I'm gonna go to bed." She yawned. Everyone agreed and got up to retire to their rooms.

Amy thought for a second and then turned around and said,"So , should I start from tomorrow? I'll need to let my boss know that I won't be working part time anymore."

Dray looked her and said,"Yes sweetie, you can tell him and start from tomorrow." They smiled at each other. Everyone decided to call it a day and that also a very eventful one.

The next day Amy's sleep was rudely interrupted by loud banging on her apartment's door. She yawned, rubbed her eyes and stretched. She got out of her bed rather with a bad mood and a pout on her pace. She called from the living room,"Who's it?" and a beautiful voice came from outside the door,"Hey Amy, you up? We needed to talk to you." For Amy this cheerful of a voice should be banned this early in the morning. She rolled her eyes at her thought and replied,"Yeah. Lemme just take a quick shower and get changed. I'll be at yours Em in a few minutes." She yawned loudly this time. Em chuckled and walked away saying,"Of course my sleeping beauty."

Amy took a shower and got changed in a yellow knee length dress with denim jacket and black boots. She then went on her way towards her friends apartment. She rang the bell and immediately was grabbed inside. All of them were sitting on the couches with space left for Amy in the middle. When she settled down, she glanced at the others. They were grinning and were too cheerful . Amy began,"Alright stop with these faces. Honestly, its creepy." Everybody laughed but she continued rolling her eyes,"You all know I'm not a morning person. Why the hell did you have to wake me up this early in the morning? What was so bloody important?"

All of them broke in soft laughter and Amy just snorted. Em began,"Oh sweetie, we are really very sorry for disturbing your beauty sleep but from now onwards you gotta get up early and also we wanted to tell you a greaaaattt.... news!!" She exclaimed happily. Amy tried to hide her excitement but failed miserably and said,"OK now .. spill the beans!!" Steph said,"Mr. Archie Angelo here" he pointed in Archie's direction and continued,"being the sneaky little snake he is set up a press conference for us this evening in our college , seeing it'll be closed for a few days."

In a short time span of some seconds Amy's face changed from shock to excitement then to worry and then frantic and nervous. She looked at Archie and said,"Don't tell me you guys are thinking what I am thinking. Please don't say it." Archie and Em shared knowing glances and smiled sweetly at her. Em said,"Honey don't worry. We'll just introduce you. You won't have to say or do anything and we'll be there to help you out." Amy replied,"It's just short notice guys. I haven't even prepared anything to say yet." Em cut her sentence short and said,"And you don't need to prepare anything." Amy calmed herself down and said," So what time is the conference?" Steph said,"The press will start arriving at 3:30. So, the conference will be started near 4."

Amy sighed and nodded her head then said,"What are we doing till then?" Ed simply crossed his arms behind his head and leaning in the couch said," Just chilling." Em suggested,"Maybe we can watch a movie?" Archie replied,"Good idea Em." And everybody hummed their agreement and so they just sat around chilling and watching movie in their flat.
