GETTING FAMILIAR WITH THE FEELING

After some discussion with the producers the five of them went inside the recording studio and Amy just sat outside, reading. It was nearly lunch time when they decided to take a break.

When Em asked Amy to go for lunch Amy said,"Can you guys wait for some time. Paul had messaged me to wait for him. So that we all can have lunch together." Em's eyebrows rose in surprise and she said,"Ooh!! I guess we should get going then. Let the 'new friends'" she quoted the words,"have lunch together." Amy replied hurriedly grabbing Em's arm,"No, I meant all. All seven of us." Dray hid his smile and said frowning or at least trying to,"You sure?" Amy rolled her eyes and said,"Of course dray. I'm sure." Steph said,"Okay then. Let's just wait." Through all this interaction one person was gnashing his teeth and had clenched his fists too tightly that his nails dig inside his skin leaving his palm bruised.

Moments later Paul came and they all made their way to a nearby restaurant. They talked about their works and how the band's song was going on. Finishing their meal, Em said,"We should head back now!" Paul said,"Can't you stay for dessert?" Em replied,"We really can't but Amy can I guess. She has done her work. She can stay back for a while. We'll manage." Amy said,"No! No! I won't leave you guys. What if I'm needed. I'm sorry Paul but we really should go back now." Paul pleaded,"Oh come on! Please! Just 10 more minutes." Archie said,"You can have the dessert alone then. We are leaving." Em smacked Archie's arm and said to Amy,"He has helped us a lot. If he's pleading so much, at least you can stay. We have to continue the recording and if you are needed there, we'll give you a call." Amy thought for a moment then smiled at Em and said,"Alright then." Archie began,"But-" Em cut her short and glared at him,"But nothing. We should take our leave." She dragged Archie out and the others just followed her smiling sheepishly.

Paul asked Amy,"So what would you like for dessert?" Amy smiled and said,"Anything's fine with me. I have a sweet tooth." Paul laughed and said,"You should have told me that before." And they continued talking and laughing just like friends.

Finishing their dessert, they walked back to the production house together. On their way back Paul said,"Hey Amy!" Amy mumbled a 'mmhm' so Paul continued,"You know! I think Archie has feelings for you." Amy's eyes widened and she turned her neck to look at Paul so fast that she might have gotten a whiplash. She frantically said,"Oh no! No no no! You've got it all wrong. He just cares for me like I do for him. We are best friends. I've already told you." Paul smiled and said,"If you say so...  but you know, I'm a Guy too and I can see the way he looks at you or the way he glares at me but no offence. I take your words for it. I just thought as a friend its my duty to bring it to your knowledge what I see and think at least." After that the rest of the way was silent.

Days were passing by soon. Amy often found herself in a situation where she had to hang out with Paul and this was enraging Archie day by day. Their recording were done and they were holding many press conferences to let the public know about the release. In these days only, Amy's midterm exam datesheet was released. She was studying hard for her exams and her friends supported her in every way they could. The bands schedule was getting busier day by day and Amy handled it all in the best way she could. They were asked for many guest appearances in shows. They were working hard on the promotion of their new album. The date to release the album was set for the day Amy's midterm exams got over.

Everytime Paul was around them, Archie tried to hold back the urge to strangle him. He was now getting familiar with his feelings. He was realizing what was causing these feelings but he was worried as well as afraid to speak out his feelings
