For one month I worked part time at a convenience store to collect money, I could not possibly have to constantly bother my mother.
Every time I go home from school I go straight to work until eleven o'clock at night and even when I go home I don't take a break right away, homeworkers naturally wait for me at home.
-Flashback on-
"Meyra Eun Hanisha, all your bills are paid in full." Said the female teacher with a black mane as she should.
"Paid? I haven't paid mom yet." I was surprised, of course.
"Oh Meyra. If not mistaken last month Aydin paid." Said the bespectacled male teacher who had been busy wrestling with the computer in front of him.
"I see, sir, if that is the case, please excuse me ma'am, sir. Thank you." I bow to their respect.
I rushed to find Aydin, I surrounded the whole corridor of the school but I never found Aydin, and it turns out he was in the canteen.
I feel offended, because no matter how poor my family I do not want to be pitied by others. It's better for me to work furiously than to have the mercy of others.
"Aydin, what do you mean by paying all my book bills? I know I'm not rich, but that doesn't mean I can't pay." I was completely out of control, no matter how busy the canteen was and all pairs of eyes were watching me.
"Mey, that's not it, I have no defect---" Aydin tried to explain but I immediately cut off.
"Never mind Din, I know you are like all of them who always look down on me, I'm not like you rich people who can do anything with money." Sambilah, and who knows when the clear liquid dripping from the temples. I immediately left it just like that.
"Meyra, wait." Shrieked Aydin while chasing me.
I could hear some students whispering with friends talking about me.
"Don't know yourself, instead of being thankful, you get angry."
"Basic, poor poor again."
After school at that time Aydin followed me home, she apologized and explained everything. I really felt guilty for treating her like that, then we hugged while crying.
-Flashback off-
The reason I was like that was, before I had been talked about by students as a parasite to Aydin, they said I was friends with Aydin just to use it. Because Aydin often treated me to meals when I was at school.
"Whatever, it's up to you." I replied with a smile.
Aydin nodded and then headed for the barista, I waited for a few minutes until he finally returned.
"By the way, how's your relationship with Jimin?" She asked who had just returned.
I took a deep breath and exhaled roughly, "It's normal, I also rarely see him at home. It's been two weeks he hasn't come home." I said honestly.
