Chapter 12

Despite his cold and ignorant nature, Jimin is a child who is very devoted to his parents, which is why he does not reject this marriage.

He did not want to disappoint his father who wanted him to marry me. Maybe he did not want his father to know how we were in the house who had never interacted with each other even indifferently.

Jimin and I were standing at the front door of the house waiting for the arrival of his parents who were soon arriving. For almost ten minutes we waited for a limousine to come into our yard.

Jimin and I welcomed them with their heads down.

"Aish, you don't need to wait in front like this." Said Park Jun Dee who had just gotten out of the car with his wife Park Nara.

My father-in-law is very friendly, his face is always filled with smiles. In contrast to my mother-in-law who seems cooler and arrogant.

Jimin approached his parents. "Mother, Father, come in." He took his father and mother inside.

"Father, Mother. Excuse me for a moment, please make a drink." My permission politely then went to the kitchen leaving the three of them in the living room.

My father-in-law smiled kindly as he nodded. When I went to the kitchen to prepare drinks I heard them chatting while laughing occasionally. I wonder what they are talking about, it looks like a work problem.

I returned from the kitchen carrying two cups of milk coffee and one glass of hot tea.

"Next time, don't bother, there are your helpers." My father-in-law said as I carefully placed the glasses on the table.

I pulled my best smile, "It's okay Dad, you guys only visit occasionally, so it's okay." I said politely, then sat down with them.

"How are your family in Asan?"

"They are fine." My answer.

"Oh, that is good." He replied then drank the milk coffee I made earlier.

My mother-in-law was silent with her lazy face, even though I had heard that she had laughed with her child and husband while I was in the kitchen. "Did you wash your hands before making this drink?" I saw him take the tissue out of his bag to clean the glass containing hot tea I made for him earlier.

God, how disgusting is he to me?

I am not the same person as them, but that doesn't mean I'm that low. Although I live and grow in a poor family that does not mean I'm outdated, I understand with all modern life.

From the way she treated me I could guess that he thought I knew nothing about the lives of rich people.

"Why are you talking like that ?!" My father-in-law looks uncomfortable with me.

I tried to be patient, enduring the pain of his words, "Yes Mother, the drink is clean how come it's easy." I answered with a fake smile.
