Part of My Wound

This morning I had class so I had to get up early. As usual, breakfast in the college canteen is my habit.


After class ends I usually spend time in the library to read, not infrequently I forget the time when I was in a building that contains thousands of books.


Today I was alone, Aydin did not enter because there was a family event. It felt very quiet when she was not even a day.


The cellphone in my pocket shook and I saw an incoming call with the name Park Jimin.


I hurriedly picked up the phone. "Hello." I say softly.


"Where are you, I'm in front of your campus."


"What?!" Of course I was shocked, what brings him here?


"Did you forget that we wanted to pick you up at the airport? I already sent you a message from earlier."


Geez! I just remembered. I really did not realize that it was already two in the afternoon, I was already from ten o'clock in the morning here. I told you, if I was dealing with a book, I certainly wouldn't remember the time.


"Oh yeah... yeah... wait a minute I'll come right away." I took care of all my belongings and put them in a bag and hurried to Jimin.


"Hurry up." He answered before the call was interrupted.


I jogged quickly to get to Jimin's car. "Sorry, I didn't see your message because my cellphone was in silent mode, I was at the library." My breath was beheaded when I entered the car.


Jimin didn't answer me, he just kept quiet, and he didn't run the car. "Why hasn't it started?" I asked in surprise.


Jimin rolled his eyes, "Do you want to die?" He replied, even made me confused.


Without permission, Jimin approached and our faces met, as if he didn't care about the distance between our faces, my heart pounded like it was the middle of a marathon.


My eyes widened when I saw his face up close, every inch of his face seemed to be absolutely perfect.


I can feel his breath on my face makes me shudder.


While Jimin looked normal, he looked at me with his deadly cold gaze. "Don't forget to wear your seatbelt when driving." He said while putting the safety belt on me.


The aroma of mint from his breath blew on my face, making my heart stop beating. I immediately turned my face toward the window when he was back in position, I was really embarrassed to remember the expression on my face earlier.


Not a word came out during the trip, neither me nor Jimin. We are just busy with our thoughts.


Along the way I looked at the sky through the car window. The sky with its bright blue accompanied by clouds looks very beautiful this afternoon making everyone who sees it will surely smile and forget their every burden for a moment.


"Hello, where is sister?" Jimin spoke on the phone.
