You will see Intentional spelling errors in the dialogue and inner thoughts due to character accents. I believe this gives the characters a realistic aspect, since people in real life have accents.

"Are ye alright, Maggie?" Skye inquired with concern in her tone.

Looking up at his distraught daughter-in-law, the king's heart ached for her. The knowledge of her true mother weighed heavily upon his mind.
