11.

"It's...."

I slowly leaned forward, waiting in anticipation, as she delayed the inevitable.

"It's....."

"Gosh darn it, just tell me!" I grab her by the shoulders and shake her. She laughs and waves my hands away and I let go of her.

"it's....Quinn."

"Quinn? That's it?" I asked rather disappointed. She huffed.

"Well, what did you expect?" She asked accusingly.

"W-w-well I-I-I d-d-don't know," I stammered. She giggled.

"You're cute," She grinned and dangerously leaned closer to my face. I gulped and leaned away.

Just then the nurse peeks in and checks how I'm doing.

"Oh?" He asked with his hand covering his hand and a light pink blush on his cheeks as he smiled knowingly. "Pardon me for intruding,"

He slowly retreated until he was out of sight. He peeked back again.

"Go on," He waved his hand at us to continue. "Just pretend I'm not here."

Mortified I threw a pillow at him. "There's NOTHING going on between us!"

"Of course there isn't," He teased. I glare at him and he giggles. He stands at the door for a few minutes.

Then he finally backs away from my intense glare.

"You didn't have to do that," Quinn crossed her arms and looked rather upset with me.

"W-what? But I didn't do anything!" I exclaimed.

She huffed and got up.

"W-where are you going!?" I asked almost panicking.

"Back to class," She said rather coldly. I wanted to reach out and grab her and pull her back to my side...but I didn't. I watched as she walked back to class leaving in the nurse's office with a strange man in a nurse's dress.

I started thinking of ways to make it up to her even though I didn't know what I did wrong. Should I bring her flowers? No...I don't know if she's allergic to it. Candy? No...I don't know her that well. An apology? Yeah, I think that will do.

Wait-

I stopped myself. Why should I apologize? I shouldn't try and go please her when I wasn't at fault. I shake my head.

"Getting me in weird situations..." I mutter.

I tsked and laid back on the bed waiting for the pain to subside.
