Encounter

I was walking on the crosswalk to my house thinking about what I'm going to do on the weekend, and as I was checking out my phone for any notifications on Wattpad, I heard crying from somewhere, I looked behind me for the source of the noise until I realised it was infront of me, I turned back in the direction I was walking in and infront of me was... her, she had sandy-grey fur, with a lighter underbelly, she was lying down with her front paws on her face while crying unaware of my presence, until I spoke.

Me: Hey what's wrong?

???: *GASP!*

Me: Oh... uhh, Are you okay?

???: Yeah I'm fine

Me: You sure?

???: No! I'm not okay!

I was in shock, I didn't know what to do, so I decided to approach her trying to not look big and hostile as I crouched down to her level

Me: Hey what's the matter little one

She then looked up at me with her striking blue eyes.

???: My brothers and sisters were takin home by their new owners, I've been living on the streets for years, and nobody wants to own me.

Me: Why not?

???: Because they don't want to own me because I'm half wild animal, even though I'm half dog half wolf

Me: Oh...I...I'm so sorry to hear that

I then placed my hand on her cheek as she spoke

???: You're so sweet

I then had an idea

Me: Say if you got nowhere else to live why don't you come live with me, I got plenty of room for you

She then looked at me surprised, I could tell there was a miracle in her eyes

???: Really? you... don't think I'll be bother?

Me: No, of course not, I'm sure it'll be fun

She then got up and processed to hug me with her front legs while standing on her back legs

???: Thank you so much!

Me: No problem uhhhh...

She pulls away from the hug and tells me her name

???: My names Aleu, and you are?

Me: I'm Callum

Aleu: Callum eh? I like that name

Me: Thank you Aleu, I like your name too

She began to blush

Aleu: Really? Th-thank you

Me: You're welcome, now anyways let's go

Aleu: Okay

I waited for her to get up but she couldn't

Me: Is everything ok?

Aleu: Yeah, I'm fine it's just my legs hurt from walking so much, do you think you could carry me?

Me: Sure

I then picked her up, she was kinda heavy but I didn't mind it, We then reached my house and went inside, I then placed her on the couch and sat beside her

Aleu: Thank you so much for bringing me into your home Cal

Me: No problem

She then hugged Me, and I hugged her back.
