Sports Festival Pt.8 | Ch. 14

The concussion issue wasn't too bad, but Shin promised he'd get her for that another time. Due to Mizuki's quirk, she has an unnaturally fast healing ability for head injuries/problems. Weird am I right? Shin theorizes it's because of how many concussions she's had but they don't know for sure.

Present Mic: "AND THE FINAL BATTLE OF THE SPORTS FESTIVAL IS, BOTH OF THE CHAOTIC DUO!" He announces.

Aizawa: "F•ck." He groans, the automatic bleeping machine covers the word up.

Present Mic: "WE HAVE SHIN NEIKAN, THE DAMAGE OF THE DUO! ON THE OTHER SIDE WE HAVE MIZUKI HIKEN, THE DAMAGE CONTROL OF THE TWO!" He yells, giving us accurate titles.

Mizuki: "Soo, how are we gonna do this?" She asks.

Shin: "Quirkless battle?" The normally psychotic one suggests an oddly normal idea.

Mizuki: "I didn't expect you to say that." The rational one compliments(?).

Shin: "With knives?" He went back into character.

Mizuki: "There it is. How the hecc did you get knives approved?" Mizuki somehow uses the heck with two 'C's.

Shin: "I threatened a few people." The psycho admits.

Mizuki: "Alright thennn. Hand me a knife." She sighs at his antics.

The battle started off good, until it wasn't good. Shin, being the little cheater he is, decided to fight a little dirty. Of course with his separation issues with his bombs he was allowed to carry firecrackers. It quelled his inner need for arson and bombs. Anyway, he threw them at Mizuki.

Mizuki: "I THOUGHT IT WAS KNIVES ONLY. SUCH BULLYISM MUCH WOW!" She yells at him.

Shin: "IT WAS AN ACCIDENT" He laughs which made his statement unconvincing.

Mizuki got in close and used a forbidden technique: SUPLEX. Shin was left confused before being let go. He was not out, just offended.

Shin: "HOW *DARE* YOU! WE PROMISED TO NEVER USE THAT ON EACH OTHER!" Shin wipes away faux tears. "I thought we were friends, but no! I have been fooled!" He 'sobs'.

Present Mic: "WHAT IS HAPPENING DOWN THERE?" He questions, actually confused.

Aizawa: "They are acting out something." He groans again.

Mizuki: "Wait! I promise it won't happen again! Please. Give me another chance!" She begs, suddenly on the floor.

Shin: "You said that last time too. I-I can't deal with this!" He turns around and pulls out a handkerchief.

Mizuki: "Please! I-I love you and only you platonically!" Mizuki confesses her friendship for him.

Shin: "D-do you mean it?" He turns and looks at her with hope.

Mizuki: "Yes!" She gets off her knees.

Shin: "I accept! I love you platonically as well!" He confesses.

The two stare at each other for a solid 30 seconds before once again charging at each other with knives.

Shin is very aggressive in his style with knives. Often trying to trick the person with the knife in his dominant hand before striking with the opposite. While Mizuki is more of a defensive, sneaky fighting while also fighting dirty. She uses 3 knives for her style, 1 in both hands and the 3rd is for 'sneak' attacks. Mizuki also includes a bit of martial arts in between knife attacks and to block.

The chaotic duo is very equally matched. Shin while not being professionally trained is able to equally match Mizuki, who is. They often spar and know each others weak spots and how the others style works.

Mizuki goes in for a strike while Shin defends against the strike. She moves back then Shin moves in, makes it look like he is going for a frontal strike before changing course and dodges to the left to attack the side. Mizuki, kinda realized what was happen but couldn't move in time, so got hit. In turn she grabbed the arm that was still out, and pulled the shorter in and hit him in the stomach.

Shin: "Fuuuuuuck, my future children!" He yells through the pain.

Mizuki: "You're a guy-" She gets cut off by Shin latching on to her and biting her arm. "Ow! Get off you gremlin child!" She shakes to get Shin off.

Shin: "Never!" The boy yells while still latched onto her arm still biting her. Forcing her to stay in one place, but then gets thrown off.

Present Mic: "IS HE BITING HER?" He asks, getting even more confused.

Mizuki: "Give me your ankles!" The dog toy yells.

Shin: "Stay away from me you Sangwoo bitch!" The blue haired boy screeches.

Mizuki: "I want your ankles as a prize." The demon commands. Shin can see an oni mask on her for some reason.

After a bit more aggressive fighting they came to a standstill.

Shin: "Wanna just use a spinner wheel to decide who wins?" The tired boy asks.

Mizuki: "Yeah." She agrees.

Shin pulled out a phone from nowhere and starts up the spinner wheel app. Whatever name the spinner lands on 3 times wins.

Shin: "Hmmm." He gets his first point.

Mizuki: "Oooo." She gets her first, second then third."HAH YOU LOST TO A GIRL SHIN!" She yells in victory.

Shin: "BITCH." He yells back.

Present Mic: "WHAT AN ODD FIGHT THAT WAS SOLVED BY A WHEEL SPINNER APP! MIZUKI HIKEN IS THE WINNER!" The parakeet announces.

Mizuki and Shin walked to recovery girl and got scolded for how reckless that fight was.

Shin doesn't care about his loss, it wasn't his goal to get first place. He only tried that hard because he wanted to. Mizuki only really tried because she thought it would be fun and 1st place was really just an extra bonus. She also just wanted to beat Shin's ass. So overall they don't care about their win or loss. They aren't worried for their future.
