Dragon’s Journey

LongWei's transformation didn't start till after his mother died only months after FengGe's funeral, he took it pretty hard and wasn't sure what to do. He wallowed in self pity, but one day someone came to him. He didn't know who he was as that guy never gave him a name or any indication of who he was, he never spoke. LongWei just followed him. With the guy, who he started to call master, he trained to fight and build his endurance. LongWei felt his anger growing inside of him, he didn't realise what it was doing to him until his skin started to change, but the biggest change didn't happen until he started sprouting wings during one practice battle in the arena.

It happened because LongWei was getting defeated and the thought of losing made him more eager and determined to win. He felt his body changing, sharp pains felt excruciating as his shoulder blades began to grow bigger and break through the skin. The Master didn't seem at all surprised it was like he wanted it to happen. LongWei screamed out in pain and fell to his knees. By the time his wings were fully out, he was on all fours panting, trying to get his breath back. There was blood all around him.

"Now slowly rise to your feet" the Master said, speaking for the first time.

"What happened to me? What came out of me?" LongWei panted out.

"Just do what I say, I will explain everything when I see you fully" the Master spoke again.

LongWei didn't say another word, he stumbled to his feet, he barely stood up straight when he heard "Now slowly bring your arms out."

As soon as LongWei found his balance, he followed his orders. He stretched his arms out and he felt something behind him, he resisted the urge to look behind him until his arms were fully outstretched. He didn't need to turn his head much to notice his wings, each wing was twice his size.

"LongWei! You are a dragon. We will now commence our battle once more." The Master explained.

Although LongWei was confused, he stood positioning himself when he saw the Master charging towards him. Without thinking his body jerked as he was thrusted in the air and saw the Master narrowingly missing him.

"Not bad, but with practice you can do that a lot smoother and quicker. So we shall continue?" the Master shouted as he hurled himself upwards towards LongWei.

LongWei was still coming to terms with his new limbs and also he had super fast reflexes, he managed to dodge the Masters moves. Still jerky and bumpy but LongWei was quickly getting the hang of his massive wings.
