Some men walked into the restaurant, which wouldn’t be a problem, except that they were part of the gang she killed the leader of. ‘Shit,’ she cursed as she walked into the back. She found her boss and asked him if she could stay in the back until they left. Luckily, he understood and allowed her to stay in the back.

“There was more to that, actually.” He was referring to that thing about her being intimate with some random guy. “You said there’s something you wanted to talk to me. What is it?”

“I…don’t think that matters anymore.” She answered reluctantly. She didn’t want to add more burden into his mind, especially when he’s so in love and brokenhearted by his wife.
