Farewell, Friend

To a friend I'll miss seeing again

I leave my hand to dance and stain

The fair sky from which you see

The gray goodbyes straying me

For a friend I long hearing again

I recite the cries of joy and pain

Those thundering our feeble lives

And storming our lowly hives

To my friend I long meeting again

I'll miss talking while bordering on insane

Opening the door on our feeble chests,

Venting away all our pests

To my dearest friend, I bid farewell

For loneliness is only a chain

A sign we'll meet despite the pain

And to hope we meet again,

Farewell, my friend
