A Plead to be Free

The moon's temptation fell upon my step

Seeking its embrace, I embarked to meet its face

My feeble steps amidst the uncertain night,

Crippled hopes dragging toward its light

Stray thoughts tainting the fair sight,

My deceased dreams haunt my ear's fright,

Picturing a future brighter than my tears

Hiding behind yesterday's endless fears

Regardless, I'll run, wasting skin and bone

Crumbling my tears to reach tomorrow

In this uncharted path, of cold and wrath

Charging unforgiven for dreaming too hard
