"HUP!..now that's the last of it..oh!..2000 S-Coin..that's a lot..for a ruined house..".
Today was the second day after my arrival, the time right now is early in the afternoon. Thanks to my impromptu treatment my injuries are mostly recovered, all the small wounds already healed leaving the only scab, the spear wound, and the missing little toe also considerably recovered, with the help of the healing properties of Maka Grass Paste and bandages, everything is under my controlled. I can perform heavy worked already, after having my breakfast which I obtained from looting the Chieftain kitchen my energy already come back, I even managed to get rid of my [Malnutrition] de-buff after eating a whole pot of Vegetable and Dried meat soup that I cooked myself.
I must say this body was certainly great, it was full of vigor, now that the sun was up I finally can observe the conditions of my new body. My skin was kinda pale with a hint of green, I was about 190 cm height and the stature was quite a stack but still kind of skinny, I can improve this status overtime with a nutritious meal. I got a short purple hair which is so smelly, probably never wash it for a long time. I haven't seen my face yet but, based on what I felt using my hand, I got a golden ratio face so It's probably above average?.
After having my meal and gather my thought, I've decided to make myself a goal, which is to leave this place and settle down temporarily in this forest, recover my conditions, and get stronger. With the conditions the I'm in, heading to a nearby settlement will be dangerous, there are only 2 outcomes for me if I did that, 1. dead because I'm weak, 2. dead because I'm be caught as a slave. I don't want to die and I don't want to be a slave, this world is where the strong prey the weak, and I want to thrive in this world. I need to move fast, I know this Village was just raided yesterday, and there's a probability of the same party will search this village again in the coming times.
Thanks to my improved conditions, I decided to experiments with my ability 'Inventory' and 'Shop'. my 'Inventory' enable me to store any non-living things as long as the targeted item was in 10 meters of me, I knew this because when I try to store a living lizard I weren't able to but it works just fine when I store a jug of water in it when I want to store things all I had to do is say 'store' and if I want to take out an item the command word was 'release'. I can also utter the command by thinking. There's also a stacking system in my 'Inventory' which makes everything much easier all the same item will be stacked on itself also everything that enters my 'inventory' I would be able to read it's detailed, Since I've discovered how to utilize the whole thing, I started to store things inside my Inventory and selling them.
'Shop' was able to sell everything, I mean EVERYTHING, thanks to that I've been going all over the village like a rubbish truck storing everything from the broken weapons that lying around to the corpse, I was even able to sell the broken mud hose. As of now, the entire village was already clean of everything, houses, corpse, rubbish, aside from the Chieftain house which I made into my temporary warehouse of important stuff where I choose to stock up. The whole village was like an empty plot of land, I don't care if the Human raid party that raids the village might come back here may felt weird by the new sight and may form an investigation, to me all this is money, by the time the be here I've already long gone anyway.
By now the fund that I've obtained by selling everything already amount to 150 000 S-Coin when a rubbish cost even 0.50 S-Coin such number weren't that impossible to achieve. Back to the Chieftain house, I already sorted all the items I need neatly, from fur, foods, bedding, medicinal items to good weapons and ironware. I can't just sell everything, I will use what I can, to save money. The Chieftain house was the richest in the village, not only it's the village treasury, but it's also served as the village medical treatment center, As the Chieftain wife is the village shaman only her was the one who has the right to hold any magical items or medicine, still despite her having enormous stock of medicinal herbs, she always said that she had only little medicine, I even remember one time that she refuses to treat one of the villager children which later on cause the child to die from fever.
"better buy some skills before heading out…".
Now that I got some S-Coin, I need to buy a few skills to ensure my survival, the 'Shop' also have some skills and magics, the price ranged from 10 S-coin to 1 million S-coin's, seeing I got talent in both martial arts and magic I've decided to buy at-least one attack and defensive magic. Every skill that I bought materialize as a trading card like item's, on the surfaced of it it shows the descriptions of the skills, all I had to do is crush the card with my hand and all the pieces of information of the card will magically appear inside my mind with a cool sensation, which then gave me an immediate knowledge of how to perform the skills. This probably what a computer feels like when a new program was installed on it.
I've bought 4 skills for myself which cost me, 20k S-coin's, Wind magic attacking spell 'Air Bullet' which cost me 1k, 'Air Bullet' is a tier 1 spells, it compresses air into a cone-like shape before launching it to a target, it's so powerful that it can pierce through a solid iron ingot, the range was also highest among the tier 1 spells, it's also the reason as to why I bought the skill rather than the famous starter spell fireball, I not so stupid to choose a flashy skill that not only potential made me like a lighthouse in the forest and possibly started a forest fire that may burn myself to death.
The second spell I bought is a defensive spell called 'Nature Hide' it's a spell that made you appear like you were wearing a gillie suit, this spells not only gave you a 'stealth' status but also have a 'regenerations' that constantly heal your injuries and 'Absorb Damage' buff that provides a 5000 damaged absorption to any kind of attacks, this is a tier 3 spell which cost me 9k of S-coins, still, it's worth it.
The third skill that I bought is 'Spear Mastery' which cost me 3k of S-coin, it's skills that show the true potential of both of my bloodline, the nimbleness of Elves, and the explosive power of my Orc side, I wanted to at least have some distance from my enemy and a spear enables me to do so. After learning the Skills the spear felt like a familiar thing to me, probably this is what they meant by an 'extension of your body'. it's also got an (A) rank on my status board, which means, it's not only suitable for me it also means I was a master in handling a spear.
The fourth Skill is the ever so famous staple skill in isekai novels, it's the 'Appraisal' which cost me 7k S-coin, it's an Tier 5 support skills and the most expensive skills amongst all the support skills, still, it was cheaper than any Attack and Defensive spells on it's Tier. I guess a support spells were deemed so-so in this world too, it was quite a view when I used this skill when I want to appraise something, the same window like my status board appeared in front of me. It took me 1 mana points peruse, as for the 'Air Bullet' it took 10 MP per use, 0.01 MP per minute for 'Nature's Hide'. considering my mana pool, I have no problem to use all 3 skills, as long as I managed them carefully. Of course, I'm going to constantly put on the 'Nature's Hide' because of its effects, but also thanks to my mana regenerations were at A rank, my mana will always recover 10 points every 1 minute which, I must say it was sufficient enough.
By the way, Rank and Tier is a 2 different thing, Rank is something that signifies compatibility, talent, and mastery of one Skills/Art's, Rank was categorized from G to A, G being talentless whilst A being a Grand Master, G was simply saying that you are rubbish at it, though it can be improved by accumulating a skill experience when you started learning the skills and it appears as G rank at your status board, you better of leaning something else, also Skills are something that depends on the individual, even though the Skill were evaluated at A rank that doesn't mean you will get an A rank when you lean it. Still, Skills is Rare having 4 or 6 skills was already consider plenty for 1 person. As for Tier, it's just an indicator of complexity and how strong a spell is, which means the higher the Tier, the more difficult it is to use and more mana consuming it becomes. But still Rank and Tier do correlate with each other, for example, my 'Air Bullet' Which is a Tier 1, that normally just able to do 5 damage per hit, but as for me Since when I got 'Magic Damage UP (A)', I can do 20 damage per hit and added the Bloodline effect I can deal 40 damage per hit, on top of that due to my Magic power is 20, I can deal 60 damage per hit because each point of Magic Power adds 1 point of damages.
At this point based on my knowledge that I got from Fulaz memories, I was actually on par with a level 20 Mage or level 10 Warrior, I might be wrong because Fulaz was dumber than a donkey despite being a half-elf. Job classes in this world do exist, and each class gave some additional benefits to some attributes and increase the experience obtained for their classes and their corresponding skills/attributes, a Class also enable one to learn a job-related skill or spell much easier and at even higher ranks. A Classes or Job can be equipped or removed at will, unless it was a forced one nor born with it for example slaves, as for me though Fulaz was a Slave, I'm not that's why I'm now jobless but since I got a 'Spear Mastery' (A), a Special Job Appear for me, it's called a 'Spear GrandMaster' the job actually gave me a Damage 3X to every damage deal by spear attacks, it also gives a plus 30 additional point to, Vitality Points, Physical and Reflex. Kinda neat when you think about it, so I equipped it and it makes me felt very secure when I have a spear on me.
"it's better to start's moving now..can't move when it's dark…oh, there's a river up north, there's even a dungeon nearby it…I supposed that where I'm going…250km from here, I guess I may have to take a few stops before I get there..well, goodbye starting village..".
I got no attachment to the village so felt no emotions at all, after storing everything inside my Inventory, luckily everything fits, I sold the Chieftain House for another additional 500 S-Coins and started my journey deeper into the forest. My outfits right now was simply a combination of something that I bought from the 'Shop' and things that I found, black jeans, a black boots, a white shirt underneath and a crude leather Armour that I found inside the Chieftain treasury and a leather jacket to top it off, I also have a belt leather pouch that got a lot of small pouches which use to store bandages, a small a container of Maka Grass Paste, a little bit of food (Nutrition Bar & Meat Jerky) and bottle of water. As for the weapon, I use a Spear which I found also in the treasury, the Spear was good, it was full iron from the shaft down to the spearhead, of course, it's blade were dull when I found it, but I've sharpened it and also add leather strips on the shaft for better grip. Overall, I was quite satisfied with my set up, and honestly, I can't wait to fight something.
