They went out to her car and he opened her door for her. But then he stood in front of it. She looked at him and he just grinned as he said, "Aren't you going to make sure I don't have any weapons?"
"Umm.....no. I think I'll be okay. I don't see any bulges anywhere I should worry about."
"If you're sure," Nathaniel replied and stepped out of the way.
Once she was in the car, he closed the door. He got into the passenger side of the car and she drove to the movie. He paid for their tickets and got their drinks. She kept protesting that she could buy her own but he refused to let her pay for anything. They went in and sat down. About fifteen minutes into the movie, he put his arm around her shoulders. She tensed up at first but finally made herself relax.
He wasn't touching her inappropriately. They laughed at the movie and she got a little teary-eyed at the sad parts. Once the movie was over, they got up and started to walk out. He held his arm out and she looked at it for a second, then she put her hand on his arm. He walked her to the car and again opened and shut her door for her. He was a gentleman at least. Again, she wondered how old he was.
He asked her to drive them to this place he had found. He had been a gentleman so far so she followed his directions. When he asked her to turn on to a dirt road, she started to feel uneasy. He asked her to stop and she saw nothing but an open field. He got out and came over to her door. She just looked at him through the window.
"I'm not going to hurt you, Dominique. This is the perfect place to dance under the stars. Will you please get out of the car?"
Dominique bit her lip and thought about it. He'd made no move to yank her out of the car. But that could have been a ploy to get her not to struggle. But he couldn't have planned anything. He hadn't known she would be at the restaurant. She slowly got out but she left the car running in case she had to jump back in.
"Would you like to play some music? Something slow would be preferable," Nathaniel said.
Dominique kept an eye on him as she got back in the car and pulled up a playlist on her phone. It began playing. She turned off the Bluetooth connection and played it through her phone. At least if she had it, she could call 911. Hopefully, it would make him think twice before doing anything stupid.
Nathaniel simply smiled as she got out of the car. He held his hand out and she took it. He pulled her against him and began to slow dance. It was a beautiful night. There wasn't a cloud in sight. The moon was full and shining bright with a million stars twinkling in the sky.
"It's breathtaking," Dominique said.
"Yes, it is."
Dominique looked at Nathaniel and saw he was only looking at her. She felt the flush creep up her neck into her face. The way he looked at her was so intense. She laid her head on his chest. He was almost a foot taller than her. Her arms were around his neck. He had his wrapped around her waist. He pushed his face into her hair at her temple.
"You smell good. Almost good enough to eat," Nathaniel commented.
"Umm...thanks I think. Just don't turn in to the big bad wolf and we'll be okay. Although I don't think the big bad wolf would smell so good. Or have a gorgeous smile. Or have a body like yours."
"So you think I'm gorgeous?" Nathaniel asked in her ear, making her shiver.
Dominique felt like her body was going to melt from the heat of embarrassment running through her. Why had she said all that? The man knew he was gorgeous. He had to. But she hadn't needed to tell him she thought so, too. She didn't know what was wrong with her. This man did something to her simply by being around her. She wasn't sure she liked it. If she let herself feel anything for anyone and it didn't work out, she wasn't sure she would survive it this go-round.
"I guess it's too late to say no?"
Nathaniel laughed. They slow danced to several songs. He would occasionally twirl her around and smile at her as she swung back towards him. She smiled too and found she was enjoying herself. After a while, he twirled her and when he had turned her back towards him, he pulled her tight against him. He cupped her chin and kissed her. This kiss wasn't chaste like the first one. Instead, his lips moved over hers. His tongue explored her mouth and danced with hers as she kissed him back.
Nathaniel's hands started to move down her sides, grazing the sides of her breast's and moving down to her hips. His hands slipped around to her butt and he pulled her tight against him as he deepened the kiss. Dominique's body was on fire. She felt the bulge in his slacks and knew he wanted her. He broke the kiss and released her.
"I think we should go before I do turn in to the big bad wolf. I apologize, Dominique. It was not my intention to take advantage of you. But I must say I'm not sorry the kiss happened."
Dominique was practically panting. Damn, the man was good. Her body was on fire just from him moving his hands over her. Her lips were tingling from his kiss. Now he was apologizing like he had done something awful. He hadn't. He hadn't taken advantage of her. Especially not the way she wanted him to.
"The way you talk, the way you act, isn't what I'm used to. How old are you? You look young but you sure don't act like it."
"I'm thirty. I have an old soul. I like the periods when there were knights and everything wasn't so modern. I've dated my family history back to when one of my great grandfather's died in 1350. He was my age when he died. I also look exactly like him. He died a mysterious death and left behind his wife and two children."
"Wow. I don't even know who my great grandparents were. You must be like that great grandfather of yours was, too. Well, I guess I should get you back to your car then."
"Yes, I think that would be best."
They got back in the car and Dominique drove them back to the restaurant. She didn't know which one was his car. He told her to just pull over into a parking space. He came around to her door and she got out. He took her hand and kissed it. She was a little disappointed he didn't kiss her again. He stood there looking into her eyes and she felt like she was getting lost in them.
"May I kiss you goodnight, Dominique?" Nathaniel asked.
Dominique smiled and said yes. Nathaniel took her into his arms and kissed her. It was a sweet, gentle kiss. When he pulled back, he smiled and thanked her for her company for the evening. She got back in the car and he closed the door. She pulled out of the parking spot and when she looked in her rearview mirror, he was gone. He moved fast to have just disappeared like that.
She shook her head and drove home. It had been one hell of a night. Maybe she should take time off more often. Smiling to herself, she went inside her house. She took her shoes off and sat on her bed. The clock read 12:30 am. She couldn't remember the last time she had gone to bed before 5 am. She went and took her makeup off and changed into her nightgown. She laid down and to her surprise, she found she was extremely tired. It didn't take her long to fall asleep.

The man waited outside of Dominique's house. He watched as she turned off the light in her room. He waited about an hour before he slowly slipped inside her home. He watched her for a little while to make sure she was asleep. She wasn't dreaming tonight. When he felt she wouldn't wake up, he laid down beside her. He ran his hands over her body as she slept. Her body responded to his caresses and she moaned when he began playing with her breasts. She was a heavy sleeper.
She started mumbling in her sleep and he knew she was dreaming now. Her dream was corresponding to what he was doing. He wouldn't take her. Not yet. He wanted her to want him first. To know that it was him causing her pleasure. Instead, he slid his fingers inside of her and sucked her breasts through her nightgown. She moaned and writhed for him. He felt her release around his fingers as she let out a loud moan. He brushed his lips against hers as her breathing evened out and she lay still. Her dream was over. She was sleeping peacefully now. He watched her sleep a little longer and then he slipped out as quietly as he had come in.
