"But, Tim isn't even awake. What difference does it make if I decide to be with him in regards to him being the leader of a pack?"

"Like I said, a wolf mates for life. If he is always concerned about you being with someone else, then he will be useless as an Alpha. He needs a mate who will be there for him but he has chosen you.
