Chapter 20 Fumeing

Winter's pov.

Today's been long and fulfilling..my student's were loving and attentive..perfect.

"Mommy I love my new school," Lilly says with a big smile. "I made lots of friend's today..everybody's my friend." She claps.

That's great baby...I loved school today too. I made a couple of new friends myself." I tell her. "Julious what about you?" I ask.

"What about me?" Oh..he's got an attitude today I see. Then he shows me an inch with his fingers. "I'm this close...THIS close...TO ending Joe's life!" He growls out. Telling me like it's no biggy. We just kill people on a daily now. I think sarcastically. My eyes widen at him.

"What?" I mutter.

"Yeah." He nod's his head fuming like I suddenly know what his issues are.

"Julious you need to calm down. Okay?" He says nothing I see anger coming off him in waves..he's way beyond talking to at this point. "Alright..were going to talk some more about this at dinner. Promise." He doesn't answer..just continues to burn away.

If Lilly knows what's wrong she definitely wouldn't say. She doesn't like brother mad or to yell at her and I don't like to pin one against another. Julious will tell me once I feed him some pizza. I laugh to myself. Momma's got trick's. Beside's he's usually pretty calm for his age. Not that uptight.

So I grab my cell an decide to shoot Richard a text. ME: Julious can't train today. I'll have to explain later.

RICHARD: Okay...I'm on my way home in twenty.

I put my phone away we head home. As soon as we pull into the drive I've barely got the damn car in park Julious jump's out the car. Fuming all the way to the house. He's never been this angry..maybe he's really...REALLY hungry!

"Brother's really gone and lost it," Lilly says and then heavily sigh's.

"No babe..let's hope not. Okay?" I say. Then add. "Let's...let him cool down and I'll order us some pizza. That will make him happy right?" I ask.

"It makes me happy too!" She giggles and clap's her tiny hands. "I love ice cream too mommy maybe that also makes brother happy."

"Well..we'll get both so their's no mistake," I say.

"Yaaaay!" Lilly screams.

We go input our thing's away Julious has not graced us with his presence..so I call and order pizza. Then the Lady K. and let her off for the evening.

I grab my laptop sit on the sofa to get some class study's ready for tomorrow. Lilly's watching Dora the explorer on the big screen. I indulge in getting some work from the house done and next thing Richard's home.

His appearance cause's my bodily disruption..no longer at ease. More like a stiff robot person..ugh. Some time's I want to get it over with..just do it already so I don't feel this constant pain and hurt and need to leap on em like a frog. Then again I'm tougher than I look and enjoy in some of his sufferings..he didn't seem to mind mine as far as I'm concerned. It's just torcher to have your body completely crave something that is make's you a brainless fool.

I'm a teacher I don't like to act foolishly. I want to be around him though and that's the pull. He's so good to us it melts my icy heart and make's me second guess the real monster.

"Hey..what's up with Julious? He sick? I can have the pack physician come out?" He asks worriedly wow..he's really concerned..a little on edge. I guess Julious is his heir but this somehow seems more. Like the love, a father would harbor deep down for his pup's life and safety. I think this turd just stole another piece of my shattered beater. Damn him! Damn ME! I wish he were ugly so I could blame all this on Lola!

"Umm...actually if you won't mind watching the pup's I've really got to run and pick up the pizza I ordered and some ice cream. That's all I know to do right now. I've truly never seen him this darn angry in all his five years." I tell Richard on a shaky breath. "I'm letting him cool down in his room for the time being till the pizza gets here." He gives me a dumbfounded look. Arche's an eyebrow at me and say's.

"So he's irked?"

"Yeah." I sigh. He doesn't know Julious that well yet so..he really doesn't know it's not our son's typical behavior.

"Okay...well I'll watch the pup's and you get the pizza." He wink's...and that smile is threatening to drag me down. He's good real good. Nope! Not falling for that. I tell myself.

"Good." I get up grab my bag and my keys and throw over my shoulder to Lilly "Lilly be good mommy be right back."

"Okay..mommy!" She says while continuing to watch Dora. I can feel Richard's gaze follow me all the way to the door till I'm out and it's closed behind me.

Making my heart flutter and I feel nervous. At this rate, my heart's able to combust leaving me with certain death. Great!... Maybe he can piece that together too...
