Ability Users are the privileged class in a complex world where society tries to balance the lopsided abilities of ability users with ordinary people.
Adrian Miles, son of an industrial scion, has failed to awaken any ability going to his third and final year of high school and a target of vicious bullying.
Things change when Adrian steps into a quagmire web of intricate plots in the criminal underbelly that somehow involves a vast conspiracy and fills him with a sense of urgency to be able to defend himself from unforeseen circumstances.
Yet, having failed to awaken at an age approaching eighteen, his hope to ever awaken an ability is dwindling and along with it a growing sense of vulnerability, until a crisis brings him closer to death than ever before...
Its been a while since i have read such a refreshingly promising book. The storyline is addictive and the writing quality is amazing and easy to read (no grammatical mistakes etc). I hope the author keeps updating regularly :)
It's pretty good so far, there's only 25 chapters but it's quite interesting to see how it goes. This novel carries many similarities to Unordinary in terms of world buidling where the strong elite rule over the weak but unlike in Unordinary, not every character is a raging narcissist looking to attack whether the see. Mc's background and past seems a little mysterious, some information is given but some is withheld, which is exactly as it should be to maintain the reader's interest. There are also side plots such as a strange man with a van but it still ties in to the narrative. Overall, it's a good start and the only thing i don't like is how the Mc just accepts being almost beaten to death multiple times every week and then just shrugs it off everytime. That is not how someone oppressed and abused behaves.
he has no ability at chap nine and it is very short...…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..………………………..
looks like this novel has been dropped, sad to see it go since it definitely had potential. This is the second review I write now having read chapter 31 and can only hope it one day gets picked up.

Very interesting novel, pacing is rather slow but it isn't streched like cliché novels. The story is immersive and has great world building.
