Punishment (1)

"Hello," Mina greeted. "Please keep this conversation short, please."

"I pulled my strings, Hong Mina," Kim Jeho said with a chuckle. "I was the one who put you into that main lead role; you must be so happy, right?"

What? Did she hear it correctly?

At first, Mina thought there was something wrong with her eardrums. Like, ah, maybe there was a fly buzzing around her ears that she heard incorrectly.

"Can you say that again?" Mina replied as she put her phone on the bed and checked if there was something in her ear. Maybe there was some water residue in her ear that was needed to be cleaned for her to hear clearly. "I just got out from the shower and I think I am having ear problems."

She stared at the ceiling blankly. The day was finally over and it was her time to relax but her relaxation time has been ruined because of this one certain person.

"You don't have ear problems, Hong Mina," Jeho chuckled, it was as if he was in a good mood. "You are just denying facts."

"So you mean, I heard you correctly?"

"Yes," Jeho answered, but his voice sounded like she was in her room. She could even hear the sound of the electric fan moving around. But then, Mina just ignored it as she was just probably too tired.

It's impossible. She has always been alone in this room. It would be weird if someone came out randomly.

The door has a passcode and she always made sure that the door is closed every time she entered the room or went out.

Mina did not bother checking everything and just rolled to the left side, facing the wall.

"So, what if you were the one who put me in the main lead role?" Mina sassily asked as she raised her brows, hugging a pillow tight. "Do you expect me to bow down to you or something?"

"Aren't you being ungrateful?"

"Why am I being ingrateful?" Mina retorted as she took a deep sigh. "I did not ask you to do it. That means you did it voluntarily, I am not in debt with you or something,"

"I never expected this reaction," He replied, but Mina noticed that his voice became even manlier. "You have always wanted to become the main lead, but now that I got it for you you seemed to be nonchalant about it."

"Thank you for making me the main lead, future CEO of SW entertainment!" Mina muttered under her breath, using her most cute and adorable sweet voice. "You are the best! The best!"

Mina could hear Jeho snorting, as he said, "You are good at imitating a little kid's voice but what you are saying sounded like it had no soul at all."

"Aren't you just being difficult?" Jeho sincerely asked.

"What do you want me to do then?"

"You know what I want you to do, Hong Mina," Jeho answered, emphasizing every word that he said. "You already know what is in the contract."

"But you haven't even said what you wanted! " Mina shot back as she threw her legs to the air. "I already told you that I am thankful."

"Hong Mina, do you really want me to spell it out to you?" Jeho asked in all sincerity. "That I am not here for a simple 'thank you."

"I know," Mina suddenly gave up being stubborn and seemed to be receptive now. "Just tell me what it is tomorrow! and please make sure that I am still going to be the main lead no matter what even if it is a backlash from the audience?"

Of course, Mina knew what he wanted but just acted dumb for so long that she even felt it was not herself who was trying to be an ungrateful piece of shit. She has never been that type that mostly has a bad relationship with them because of the business.

"I don't know," Mina just tried to end the conversation fast when there was a dead air between the two of them. "Let's just end this conversation as I want to sleep already. Let's talk about what you want to do for an exchange of suggestions tomorrow, Jeho sunbae."

After that line, Mina immediately ended the call and put her phone on her bed, just right next to her left stomach.

For some unknown reason, Mina felt like she was not alone in the room. She does not even believe in ghosts or supernatural thinking. She mostly relies on math and reasoning skills above all.

Mina fell into a deep sleep when she stared at the ceiling. Her overall awareness and consciousness about different bursts. It was as if Mina was felt the need to rest. Sunday became her final rest day/ two to three hours would be fine.

Mina seemed to be aware of herself in that dream, and finally, she saw someone else that he did expect in that dream. It was Kim Jeho.

She wanted Jeho to disappear out of her sight but she just can't.

Jeho's alluring red eyes were something new to her. It was as if it was a red-colored full moon shining brightly under the moonlight.

In this dream where Mina realized that she was a part of the book, he just informed me that was a handsome man right beneath her. She was lying down on her bed when she noticed Jeho crawling all his way from her legs.

It was a dream, but too naughty and indecent to be true. She felt Jeho's warm touch into her skin and sent the shivers in her spine. She even wondered how on Earth did she end up dreaming about that Kim Jeho.

It is just a dream so better enjoy it.

Mina just watched Jeho do his thing. He took off her pajama and bombarded her legs with kisses.

"I did not know you were such an ungrateful one, Hong Mina," Jeho said in between his kisses. "I think you should be punished."
