Absurd Combination

I had no idea what she was trying to do so I asked

"Hey Rena, what are you doing now?" Which was quite hard to say as she continued to rub and twist my cheeks not allowing any words to come out properly

She then replied saying "I'm checking if you've put on some makeup or some beauty cream. There's no way you've got skin this good without it" In a tone which had a hint of anger and jealousy to it

Well that is good theory, but no I'm not wearing makeup. But even if I told her that I don't think she would stop until she confirmed it as she looked pretty serious about finding out the truth so I just let her continue

Honestly I didn't care that she was rubbing my cheeks and was quite frantically enjoying it, as her soft small hands felt really warm and in this chilly morning weather, it gave a really cosy feeling on my cheeks

It's like there are two really soft and hot pocket warmers on my cheeks that were set to massage mode which felt unbelievably pleasant

But as much as I wanted to enjoy this feeling, the students walking by were staring at us a little to much and I could feel the hateful gazes of jealousy of all the boys on my back so I said

"Rena I think you should stop. All the students who are passing us are really staring at us and some boys are even giving me the evil eye. And I think one of them even flipped me off"

"As if I care about them!" Exclaimed Rena and continued to say " What's more important is the secret to your beautiful skin. I just have to find out!" In a adamant tone without batting a eyes to the others

I really don't know how to feel about a girl calling my skin beautiful. I have mixed thoughts about it but I think I can take it as a compliment I guess. I then said

"Well aren't you embarrassed that you're touching a boy like this in a public place like this. And that to in front of your fellow students" Trying to shake her a bit to which she immediately replied saying

"Fellow students my ass! I couldn't care less even if they ceased to exist"

Oof…That's harsh. I guess both Kisaragi and Rena have the same mind set when it comes to their classmates. I wonder what would happen if these two talk to each other and try to socialise ? I've tried to visualize it in my head but I'm not getting a pretty picture...Only scenes from a deadly war

Rena looked up at me with her eyes narrowed and asked "Didn't you do the same thing to me yesterday when you wiped my mouth? You even did it without asking me. Now what's wrong if I do it to you now?"

"N-No, there's nothing wrong. Please continue…" I said hesitantly

I guess she's not easily embarrassed like before. Well that sucks

After Rena thoroughly checked my face for any makeup, she finally let go of my face and looked at her hands and said "There isn't any makeup…" With a look of confusion on her face as if she was expecting her hands to be full of foundation after checking

"How is that even possible?!" Exclaimed Rena in surprise. "You have such flawless skin that girls would kill for but you also have those menacing eyes that look like that of a demon's. What in the world is this absurd combination!? It doesn't make any sense!"

Rena looked flabbergasted at the results and couldn't believe it. I didn't want to drag this drama on so I said

"Let's just say I have good genes. Now come on, let's go now. We don't want to be late for class" As I started walking up the hill again

Rena quicky caught up to me and started jumping up and down in shock and excitement and exclaimed "There's no way it's just genes! It's just too unnatural! The only few people I've seen with skin as good as yours are the models who work for my company and even they wear make up!"

Models? Does her company belong in the fashion and beauty department? But she also told that they do construction when we were talking yesterday. Hmm…Just how big is her company to do multiple businesses?

Well never mind that. She told that she hasn't seen a lot of with skin as clear as mine but I think she forgot Kisaragi-san sitting right next to her who has clear ebony white skin that almost seems transparent. Her absolute beauty can put any model to shame

"Just what do you do?! Do you apply some skin lotion!? Or do you wear face masks every night!? Or do you have some special diet that keeps your skin this clear!? Come on tell me!" Exclaimed Rena while she went around me in circles like a energetic kid as I walked up, as if she was depraved for the answer

This just reminds me of how Kaede and mom would ask the same questions and do the same thing to me in the past

They would constantly pinch my cheeks and say how soft and smooth it is. My cheeks often became red and swollen because of that. They did it so much, that I used to wear my father's bike helmet inside the house to protect my cheeks

The very thought of my mother touching my cheeks terrified me as a child, but now I would give anything in the world to feel my mother's warmth again *Sigh* Oh how times have changed…

Well I guess all girls are the same when it comes to beauty. But I don't know why Rena seems so interested in it as she isn't wearing any make up right now and doesn't have any need to wear make up as her skin was already really pretty

I don't really have any knowledge about beauty products, so I tried to shift the topic by saying

"I-I'll tell you about that later. Now let's talk about…Umm.…Oh yeah! That Yamada guy! Let's talk about him!"

"Yamada?" Asked Rena with a repulsed look on her face " Why him?"

Well I didn't have anything else to talk about at the moment and that guy was the only thing that popped up when I thought of it

"No, it's just that I was wondering if he really proposed to you multiple times like you said he did"

"Of course he did!" Exclaimed Rena with a angry look on her face "He didn't propose once or twice or even thrice like you think he did, but more then 20 times in the past month!"
