Falling apart

It was just a glimpse and it's as if my heart knew you were there—you didn't see me but amidst the crowded hallway, my eyes found you. That moment, you're the only thing that mattered as I held my breath watching from afar. I wish I could wrap my arms around you or just be simply beside you, feeling the warmth of your pressence fill every numb hole inside my soul. You're smiling at someone, I wish you would smile at me that way too—carefree and genuine as if you're comfortable being yourself around me.

One, two, three.

Stepping inside a room you close the door behind you and it had felt like you're shutting me out too.
