Aftermath IV

"Mr. Davos, I am aware that you are still recovering and that it is not right of us to ask this of you, but we are desperate. The beds are overflowing, and people are dying faster than we can save them. We have heard much about your expertise in Healing, so if you could please give us some of your time, we would be eternally grateful. I promise that you will also be financially compensated for your efforts once everything has settled down once more."

Yuliang immediately slid off the bed and got to his feet, "That won't be necessary, Doctor. Lead the way."

The woman looked exhausted and pale. Displaying signs of Energy drain. Doctors did not specialize in Healing, so the situation must be quite dire if they had to resort to it to save people.

Yuliang was dressed in his hospital pajamas, following a group of medical staff to where the smell of death and decay he had been sensing for days was strongest.

There were people in varying states of distress and injury littered all across the large space. There weren't enough beds to accommodate them and the medical staff were running around all over, trying to get to critically injured patients. New bodies were being brought every time the three main entrances opened too, but seeing as there were no more beds, the bodies were just dumped onto the floor.

If someone did not intervene, this place would become a mass grave.

Yuliang took a deep breath and let his mind sink into the fifth dimension once more.
