Energy Transcendence II

Yuliang wasn't sure how long he had been stuck in the transcendent state for, but he was vaguely aware of a commotion in his periphery and flashing of light.

Yuliang ignored it and moved on to coax the internal energies of the next closest patient. This one was missing limbs. He inserted some of his own Energy to assist in the process, knowing they did not have enough of their own to heal themselves fully. They would probably die from Energy drain if Yuliang merely left them to their own devices.

There was a flash of light directly beside his face. Surprised, Yuliang immediately lashed out and shoved the figure away.

Yuliang scowled but didn't let the hindrance hold him back from going in search of the next patient.

This one had a concussion and some minor scrapes—no Energy needed to be sacrificed for them. Yuliang just coaxed their internal Energy to respond once more and continued on his way.

He had yet to feel any signs of exhaustion, but he already knew that he wouldn't until he left the state. He also felt like he had much more control and awareness during this state than he had ever before. Not total awareness, but enough to have some semblance of a thought process.

Definitely, something to take note of in his journal and talk to granny about later.
