Episode 14

Yeon-joo arrived at her office. She continued to write her upcoming novel.

"What is your story about?", asked Mr Han.

"Secret.", said Yeon-joo.

Mr Han sighed.

"Mr Han, you know…. My novel always based on my life.. This upcoming novel is about my life too… It's just… I don't know if this going to be a happy ending…", said Yeon-joo with deep voice.

Mr Han smiled. He taps Yeon-joo's back to comfort her. "You can do this. Fighting !".

Yeon-joo feels thankful.

Suddenly, they heard someone knocking. The secretary told Yeon-joo that someone wants to meet her. "Mrs Allison, someone is here to meet you."

That someone steps in. Yeon-joo and Mr Han shocked. Yeon-joo stands up.

"Allison, I'll be out… Call me if anything…", Mr Han feels worried about Yeon-joo.

Yeon-joo's face turns into a cold face. "Oh Mi Rae. Mom".

"What do you want?", asked Yeon-joo.

"Is it wrong for me to meet my daughter, Yeon-joo?", said her mom.

"Not Yeon-joo. I'm Allison to you.",said Yeon-joo.

Yeon-joo's mom smiled.

"Congratulation, you became a successful writer.. I'm proud of you…", said her mom.

Yeon-joo is in thought when she heard that.

** Flashback **

"I gave birth of her so that she can give me money one day. That's why I want her to marry my friend's son.", said Yeon-joo's mom.

"You didn't gave birth her so that she could take care of you when both of us old?", asked Yeon-joo's dad.

** End of flashback **

Yeon-joo walks to her table and took out the cheque.

She wrote something on the cheque and give it to her mom.

'I million won'

"Why do you give me this?", asked her mom.

"I know why do you looking for me. You are looking for money.", said Yeon-joo.

Her mom slapped her. She tore up the cheque.

"I only want my daughter. Please come back home.", said her mom.

"Hypocrite.", said Yeon-joo. She stepped out of her office.

Yeon-joo's mom tears dropped.

Tae-hee was on his way to pick Yeon-joo. But he was told that Yeon-joo stepped out of office a while ago.

"Yeon-joo's mom was here just now…", said Mr Han.

"Pardon?", Tae-hee shocked.

He quickly looking for Yeon-joo everywhere. He found Yeon-joo at her favourite place.

"How did you know that I'm here?", asked Yeon-joo with deep voice.

Tae-hee smiled and pat her head. "How come I didn't know my girlfriend's favourite place ?", said Tae-hee.

Yeon-joo smiled.

"Your mom…", Tae-hee speaks up.

"My mom… is looking for my money…. That's why I gave her 1 million won so that she won't bother me anymore..", Yeon-joo tearing up.

Tae-hee hugs her to comfort her. "But… No matter what, she's still your mom…", said Tae-hee.

Rachel met Deok-hwan. "After what she said, you still okay ?", asked Rachel.

Deok-hwan was a short-tempered person as he was sick.

Tae-hee dropped Yeon-joo at her house. Tae-hee kissed Yeon-joo's head and told her not to worry anymore. Yeon-joo was glad knowing that Tae-hee was by her side.

When Yeon-joo was about to open her door, she was shocked because her house was in mess. "Someone broke in.". She took out a pen and quickly push the button. "Who's there?!".

Deok-hwan appears and he hits Yeon-joo on her head and she fainted.

Tae-hee met Yeon-joo's mom. Her mom told that Yeon-joo was completely changed.

Tae-hee smiled and said "we don't know what she's been through… She may be look happy on the outside but she was saddest person inside..".

Yeon-joo's mom sighed and suddenly tearing up. "I'm glad she found a person like you… Please take care of my precious daughter.. Tell her that I love her…".

Tae-hee nodded. Suddenly, Tae-hee's phone ringing. It was from Hae-kyong.

"Yeon-joo was kidnapped !!! Come to my office now !", said Hae-kyong.

"What !?", shouted Tae-hee.
