All was silent for a few moments I heard a couple of dragons laying out a bit of some fake coughs, I could not blame them, both of us were just standing still. For a few moments I thought that I saw a look in Penta's eyes that she did not want to do this.
She was doing this for the love of a dragon that did not love her back. I knew that if she somehow won this which I knew in my mind she would not, then she would go after Kota's wife. I saw her looking at us a bit scared but I nodded to her and Kota.
Kota had gotten very upset about Penta last night, and he had every reason to. While my mind was in another place suddenly Penta ran at me. She got a little scratch on me, but once I realized what was going on I easily dodged it.
I knew her moves, Socra had told me how to easily beat a red dragon if I got in a fight with one. She had a different tactic, but it was not different in a good way, she was absolutely terrible at fighting, I was tempted to laugh at her last night.
She came in for a 3rd shot, this time I dodged it and she fell to the ground. All of the dragons in the clearing began laughing and cheering my name. I felt bad for Penta, but I knew that I should not. She had a chance with me, the new deputy and for some reason she chose a dragon that did not want to be deputy and did not love her back.
She looked at me right in my eyes, I could see nothing but hatred. I had not shown anything with love and compassion to her. But for some reason I could just see that she absolutely hated me. I was surprised I had never noticed it before.
She had made it obvious on several occasions that she loved Kota, but I had never noticed how much she despised me. I look at her and then smiled, she then ran at me, this time she did catch me off balance.
She knocked me to the ground and went right after my soft spot like she had done yesterday on her grandfather Ipse. I easily dodged it, thinking about Ipse, a dragon that had shown me and her nothing but love and support. It made me angry, and I knocked her off of me easily.
So easily she flew several meters back. I heard a dragon or so ghasp and all was quiet. Penta quickly pulled herself up. I could tell that she was already worn out, but I was just getting started. I couldn't help but think of Ipse right now. He was on his death bed, all because of this dragon.
I ran at her as fast as I possibly could, she almost did not see it coming, but she did, she just did not have nearly enough time to react to it in any way. I heard all of the dragons around me cheering. I had her pinned to the ground, I looked at all of them and then I smiled.
Suddenly I felt a really sharp sting of pain and I fell to the ground. All was silent now, I could not tell if it was just me or if maybe it was just the entire tribe all just so surprised. She had got me in my soft spot. I fell to the ground and she instantly got up and started pummeling me.
There was nothing I could do, I felt so weak and in so much pain, simply just because of the scratch to the soft spot. I felt her pummeling me but it did not hurt nearly as much as the cut to the soft spot on my body.
I looked at my brother and sister from not too far away. They looked at me in absolute shock, they had not expected it and not seen it coming. My mother was turned away, I could not blame her, her son was about to die and there was nothing a single dragon could do about it.
It was my own fault, I had been greedy and it had already felt like I had won, but all it took was 1 perfect spot to my soft spot and it was all over for me. I was done. Everything was in slow motion, just like it always was when I heard a dragon was near their death.
I looked over at Kota he was with Kip and Zati. Kip was looking at the ground sadly, Zati was just looking as if this was perfectly normal. I could not blame her she was a bit older for our group of friends, she did not know me very well. Kota just looked at me and then she shook his head and looked away.
I looked over at Socra, she was with my father. My father was looking down at the ground like Kip very sadly. Socra looked a bit surprised but I could see no other emotions on her face. She just moved closer to my father feeling bad for him.
Clearly they were all wrong, I was not the dragon of destiny... They had all looked up to me and thought that I was but I was just a normal dragon, I held thought I had won and gotten to greedy and bragged to the crowd, and that was my downfall.
I felt Penta get off of me, she made one last large gash to my soft spot, and I felt the pain, not quite as bad as before because I was already in so much pain. Then suddenly it was all over, it was the end for me.
I woke up, I was in a meadow. There was a man staring at me, a human... I was a bit surprised, was I in the humans form of their own heaven? He looked at me and then he smiled at me. He then moved up to me and touched my soft spot.
I jumped a little bit frightened, but when he touched it I did not feel pain, but all of the sudden I felt the calmest thing I had ever felt before. I was dead and I knew it. But this was not the heaven that the dragons had told me about.
"Who are you?" I asked the human looking figure. He looked like a human but much more good looking, he did not have any clothes on and he was just staring at me naked. But it did not make me feel disgusted I just had a calm and smooth feeling.
He looked at me and then smiled, suddenly we were in a new place. It was the tribe clearing. He stood there looking sadly at something. I was too busy looking at Penta as she was bragging about defeating me to the whole tribe.
I could see everyone in the tribe had a look of shock on their faces. My father nodded to her and moved closer to her and bowed his head to her as he smiled. I looked at the man, but he was looking at a whole different place. I looked at what he was looking at.
"Jangra... This is not the end for you, this is just the beggining, this is your destiny. You will save all of them, I have seen it, time is endless for me..." The man said to me. I looked at him a bit surprised and a bit confused at the same time.
"Who are you? Why am I not with my kin of dragons?" I asked to human figure. He looked at me and smiled, then he shook is head at me which confused me a great deal.
"Some call me god, no one knows my true name where you are. Your family, they are in a separate deminsion. I am just the one that decides whether or not you go there." He said to me. I looked at him a bit confused. God? I thought that was something that only the humans believed in.
I guess it sort of made sense though, the dragons believed that after you die you live in a heavenly place, no one knows who makes the decision whether or not you get to go there or not. But I suppose that it did make a bit of since.
"I thought... God was only for the humans." I said to him. He looked at me for a few seconds but he nodded to me. I looked at him a bit confused, if it was true than why was he here in the first place.
"Indeed it is, but I made all forms of life. When you die, you will not be with the humans unless you care to greet them here and there." He said to me. I looked at him and then nodded, I was still a bit confused as to what exactly he was trying to tell me but I understood a couple of bits and pieces.
"Why would I want to go greet a human?" I asked the man. He looked at me for a few seconds before he smiled again. He sure did have a good way of just always smiling, I could not blame him, I wish that I could be like that.
"You will find that some day you will get along with them." He said to me, I looked at him a bit confused but in the end I just nodded to him. I then looked at him, a dragon was coming up to me. I looked at it, it was Yikla I could see from the dark purple on her.
"If I am gone how will I see?" I said to him. He looked at me once again and then he shook his head at me. If he could see through time then how did he not know? I was a bit frustrated but I continued listening to what he had to tell me.
"It is not up to me, I know so much, but at the same time, I know so little. I do not know..." He said to me. I looked at him a bit confused but he did not notice me. He was looking at where my dead body was laying on the ground. I looked over at it, Yikla was standing on it looking sadly.
Suddenly she then looked over to my sister Mik and then walked over to her. Mik was standing there looking at Penta but when Yikla pushed up against her she looked at her. I could not hear what any of them were saying, and their mouths were ceiled shut so I could not guess.
They were talking for a few, then my sister nodded to Yikla and then looked over at me. Yikla and her then began walking up to me, suddenly Mik began grabbing on to my soft spot. I began feeling it strangely for some reason. It hurt so much.
I looked over to God and he was smiling at me, was this supposed to be happening, was I in some sort of heavenly dream? I had only heard stories about where dragons went after they died I did not know what was actually going on.
"Good luck Jangra, I believe in you and many other dragons and humans do as well." He said to me. I looked at him a slight bit confused, I then felt a loud burst of sudden pain right in my soft spot. All of the sudden everything went dark again.
I blinked for a few seconds, then my eyes were open, I looked around a bit confused a bit surprised at the same time. My sister Mik was staring at me a bit surprised and Yikla had a big smile on her face. Suddenly she put her head against mine and suddenly kissed me.
I was a bit surprised but I did not fight back on it at all, it felt so good, and I moved in for one quick little kiss again. She nodded to me and then moved back. My sister looked at her a bit confused but a bit surprised at the same time.
"How did that work? I'm just a hunter dragon! I do not know anything about medicine!" Mik asked her. Yikla looked at her and then she smiled at her. I was still a bit confused at to what was going on and what had just happened to me.
Last thing I remember was that I was dead and then suddenly I talked to a human, then pop! I was back to life.
"The dragon of destiny has a sister, she is the Odyssy dragon. I knew it was you, you can save a dragons life before they are really dead." Yikla said to her. Mik looked at her a bit surprised but then she shook her head as if she did not want to believe it.
I knew that Odyssy dragons did all sorts of mystical things. I would not have thought that my sister would ever be one. I knew that she was an important dragon, she had a chance at being deputy but she had turned it down.
"Does that mean she can go and save Ipse?" I asked Yikla. She looked at me and then she looked at Mik. Mik's mind was in a whole different place. I could just tell by the look in her eyes, she had no clue as to what was going on or how it was possible.
"The Odyssy Dragon can only save a dragon who is not quite ready to finish their destiny in life." Yikla said to the both of us. I nodded to her, Mik nodded back her mind suddenly back to realizing what was going on.
Suddenly I heard a dragon move up close to us, maybe just a couple meters away. She ghasped as if she was a bit surprised. Then she nodded loudly so that every dragon in the tribe could here it. Many dragons were already walking away sadly and they all turned to look to see what was going on.
"He's alive! He is the dragon of destiny! It is time to finish what he has started!" The dragon yelled to every dragon in the tribe. A lot of dragons began running over to see if it was true. I heard a lot of shocked ghasp, I heard my father yell loudly for everyone to be silent.
He then ran over to me to see if it was true. All of the dragons moved out of his way to let him go past. He ran over to me with nothing but love and excitement on his face. He looked at Penta, Penta looked a bit shocked.
I pulled myself up, it seemed like I was stronger than ever. All the dragons ghasped suddenly. They all bowed down low to me, and I looked at them a bit confused and a bit surprised at the same time. I looked down to see what they were looking at.
I saw instanly what it was, where originally there had been a huge gash, now there was not one. It was now fully healed and I was in perfect condition. I looked at Penta and then smiled at her, I could see a scared and confused look on her face.
"Finish what you started, my son." My father Himla said to me. I looked at him and smiled, then I nodded to him. I then got up and ran right at Penta, she did not even have near enough time to react, it was the fastest boost of acceleration I think I had ever had.
All the dragons around the clearing ghasped in shock. They then began cheering for me as soon I easily through her to the ground.
I wanted to do exactly what she did, I wanted this too be a long drawn out process, I wanted her to feel the pain I had felt. She tried putting her bottom legs up to hide her soft spot but I threw those down with both of my bottom legs.
I could see a scared look on her face, but then she nodded, she knew what was coming up next as I quickly, much faster than she did slid a claw into her soft spot. I heard her yell in so much pain.
It only made me feel better though, she deserved it. This time I did not look at the crowd to brag about it, this time I just began cutting around her whole body making her bleed everywhere. I was having so much fun much like she was having as well.
Everyone in the crowd was cheering, I heard her crying. I through I quick little burn of fire at her face to get her to stop. She screamed in so much pain, everyone in the crowd began cheering even louder.
"I give up Jangra! Please spare me! I am sorry!" She yelled to me. I looked at her for a few moments wanting to believe what she said. I could not bring myself to it however, she had lied to me so many times. She wasn't sorry, she had killed me... She wasn't sorry then, she had killed Ipse and she wasn't sorry there.
"No... I want this to be painful... You deserve this, I will prove to you, I am better than you and always have been. I am not taking this light on you anymore." I said to her. She looked at me sadly, then she nodded she was excepting her fate now.
Suddenly a dragon ran up on me and then threw me down. I got up, all of the dragon's in the crowd began booing, I pulled myself up to see who it could have possibly been. Surely it was Kota, he must have felt some sort of love for her still.
"Come on! Let him finish what he started! You cant do that!" One dragon yelled. Everyone else yelled their agreement and I looked at the dragon upset and very mad. This was my goal, I was destined to kill this dragon, the first of many.
"Jangra... Don't do it, you loved this dragon. You don't need this, spare her life." The dragon said to me. I looked at him, it was my brother Plok, he was looking at me sadly. I shook my head at him, he was getting in my way, this was my destiny, I must kill every dragon in my path.
"I loved her in the past tence, get out of my way... Let me finish what I started this is not allowed." I said to Plok. He hopped in front of her and I yelled at him in anger. I did not want to have to fight my brother to kill this dragon.
"Plok what are you doing?! This is the how every fight is supposed to end, if he wants to do this than you can not stop him." Socra yelled running up close to him. Plok looked at her and then shook his head at her. Suddenly Socra shoved him to the ground and held him down.
"Go now Jangra... Finish what you started." Socra said to me. I looked at her for a few seconds. I knew she was right, she was there earlier yesterday, she had seen the look on her face. It had shown nothing but anger to a dragon like me that showed her nothing but love.
But then I looked at my brother. He was looking at me sadly as I began walking over to Penta, she was unconscious do to a large loss of blood, the cut to her soft spot and the burn on her face. Plok shook his head at me as I picked my claw up ready for the finishing blow.
I then looked at Penta one last time, a dragon that I had once loved so much, but she had not loved me back. Instead she challenged me, potentially killed a dragon that I loved, and she had tried to kill me as well. I looked at her, such a sad look on her face.
I put my claw away and sat back. I could not do it, I thought that I could but that was earlier and now I was coming to my senses. Once I put my head down a lot of the dragons in the tribe looked around a bit surprised. Then they began booing. I could not blame them they always were looking up to these sort of fights.
"Get her a medicine dragon!" I yelled. Quickly a couple of medicine dragons ran over to her and then picked her up. I looked at her, I hated her now, but I could not bring myself to go so far as kill her. Plok was right, I looked behind me.
I saw my father nodding to me as he was walking up to me with Socra by his side. In the background I saw a beautiful dragon, normally all black dragons were considered ugly to a red dragon. But this dragon stood out to me for some reason.
I looked at her and saw a bit of a smile on her face. I smiled back to her, she nodded and then I looked back at my father and Socra as they came up close to me.
"Good job Jangra... We're proud."
