Armaan's POV
"Oh god!!! Aap mujhe koi bhi problem se sakte the. Lekin aapko mujhe Alisha jaisi problem kyu Deni hai." I said looking at Alisha who was packing her laptop.
"What ? See, even though I'm not talking to you, you still have a problem with me. So basically, the problem isn't with me. It's with you." She told angrily.
It's been almost 3 days that I've been on bed due to my health and since morning I've been asking her to let me come to office or at least let me work from home. I'm not the 'joru ka gulaam' types guy. But what do I do when my great wifey has changed the password of the house and also hidden my laptop somewhere and that silly doctor, he has asked me to take rest for 5 days.
"Take this. Your hot chocolate. And stop daydreaming about your girlfriend. Once we get divorced you can actually marry her." She told SMILING genuinely at me.
"What rubbish? You want a divorce." I exclaimed and walked to her.
"Yeah. Come on,Armaan. You love someone else and I know that. The fact that 'I love you' doesn't give me the rights to force myself on you. Both of us hate each other. Wait...Not both of us. Only you hate me. I don't know the reason for that but the only thing I know is that if we keep going on like this, then neither of us would be happy and lead a peaceful life. So I'm thinking of filing a divorce." She said. A pang of guilt built inside me when she said that she wanted a divorce.
"Will you be happy after we get divorced?" I questioned. I felt a pang if guilt when she told that she'd be divorcing me soon.
"You'll be. After all you will be marrying your love after that." She replied.
"How could you be..." I was telling it when her phone rang. She was about to reach it when I bet to her and took it. It was her personal assistant.
"Hello."
"Sir, can I please talk to Alisha ma'am?" Her PA asked.
"Lisa, Alisha isn't coming to office today. Cancel all her meetings." I told and Alisha's eyes almost popped out.
"But sir, we have a meeting with Khanna's."
"I said postpone the meeting." I ordered and disconnected the call.
"You wouldn't mind me marrying someone else?" I asked her.
"See, you're sick that's why I'm talking to you. I'm still angry at you for the previous incident." She said ignoring the topic while taking her phone and dialling someone's number.
"Hey Lisa, don't cancel the meeting. I'll be there in a while." She told and left.
Damn! This girl. Why does she want to run away? Can't she fight for her rights. Why I'm I so bothered? Who cares? If I stay like this then I'll go crazy. I'll do some work. Either ways I feel better now.
I thought and started getting ready for office and left.
Alisha's POV
"Why do I feel like he likes me but doesn't want to admit it?" I asked myself while getting inside my chamber.
"Come in." I said when I heard a knock on the door.
"What are you doing here?" I asked seeing Armaan standing near the door.
"Here to complete the discussion we started at home." He said sitting on the chair.
"Armaan, this isn't the right place to discuss all these things." I said calmly.
"There's no right place and right time for anything Alisha." He said.
"Now mind telling me why you want a divorce." He asked calmly but I sensed his not so calm nature hidden behind that calm voice.
"Why not? Give me a reason no." I said and he was quite.
"Armaan, we have nothing like a normal couple. I'm tired of all this now. Faking love, smiles, happiness and most importantly acting like a normal, newly married, happy couple. Which people see but we aren't even an ounce of it." I told and was ready to leave for the meeting.
"By the way I'm angry with you." I said to him while opening the door.
