The Clichéd Story of My Life

Maya was so serious about this because she was about to confirm that she was the daughter of a powerful family. People who understood her intentions, would not try to  mess up with her anymore whereas people who really wanted to go against her, would use it by saying that she was bullying people just because her father was a respected person in the Politics.


Maya then continued: "I am pretty sure that we all know that my father is respected lawyer in his field. For him my job was, and is still just not acceptable. The only reason he has allowed me to exist here until now is because I am also doing well in my studies. Soon I would be starting my internship for cosmetics as well.  If my grades get low now...I am sure that this might be the last time you are seeing me! hahaha!" 


Maya ended her interview on a note which left a bitter taste in the interviewer's mouth. It was as if she had helped Maya threaten the people  who opposed her and at the same time she had helped Maya create a pitiful image of a pressured student.


"Okay so now that we are done with our shoot here, you have a soft drink commercial to shoot. Don't worry it is set up in Studio no.6 which  is not far, we can reach there in two minutes." came her agent; Ashley's voice. 


"Hmm...." Maya didn't respond with anything as she read the script. She was supposed to act with a male partner. "Lucas Martin" Maya read out her co-star's name. 


"Ya.. he was a child actor who came up in a few kids series but had some accident several years back, which ended up in making a scar on his upper face, that's why his company had frozen him. But now he is already about 20 years old and I heard that he had a surgery for the scar. As you can see in the picture provided, he looks quite attractive now. His company is planning to give him a 'bad-boy' image and the best way to hype him up is through you. I wanted to reject this but it seemed as if our company wanted you to do this advertisement, so...here we are!"


As soon as Ashley finished, they heard a high-pitched voice. "Hey!! you must be Maya...of course you are Maya hahaha! Excuse me for my unprofessional methods, I am Lucas's agent; Martha. Nice to meet you! I am sure you have read the script...you will be acting with my actor for a 25 seconds advertisement. I hope we can get along. Lucas! Come here! introduce yourself."


A man with boyish charm on his face came forward. He meekly extended his hand towards Maya. It seemed as if Maya was the elder one here. "You are so adorable and shy, and your company wants you to maintain a bad boy image!! Seems like a tough job. Anyways I do hope we get along, my Friend!!" Maya said as they shaked their hands.
