"Come on, give the young man a break! He was only late for thirty minutes!" Harry, one of the oldest men in the nursing home, said as he joined them. His wife, Irene, who had gone in to inform him and the others that Dan had arrived, pushed his wheelchair forward.
"What do you know? I've been married to you for over fifty years, and you have never shown up early for anything in your life," His wife said with a hiss before looking at Dan, "I don't suppose you got me a flower?" She asked, making Dan chuckle.
"I don't want to get on Harry's bad book, so I'm just going to give him your rose, and then he can hand it to you himself," Dan said with a wink, making the others laugh out loud as they all trooped out of their various rooms to greet Dan.
"You didn't come with my Zachary today?" Angela asked as she looked around for her grandson.
