"Who are you waiting for?" Claire Williams had asked Dan, who was lost in a world of his own.
"Princess Becca," He responded as one in a daze, even though his mother could tell that it was just his body that was still present in the room.
"Why are you waiting for her?" She asked and gasped when he suddenly started jerking and raised a hand to his chest; she quickly grabbed him, making him sit bolt upright as though he had just been jolted from sleep.
"What is wrong? What did you see?" His mother asked in alarm, looking at him frightfully.
His eyes were glazed over as he looked into his mother's face, and she could tell that though he was conscious, his mind was still not there.
"Dan!" She called, hitting his cheek softly until his gaze focused on her.
"We are done?" He asked in confusion.
"What happened? Why did you grab your chest in that manner? Were you hurt?" She asked with a worried frown.
