After Allan and Johnny's talk, an officer took Johnny to a cell in the station. Allan got up worried and asked the officer: 'what are you gonna do to him?' The officer told Allan that he could go but Johnny had to stay there over night. Allan didn't want to leave his friend there even after how he treated him. The officer insisted, and drove Allan back to his house. Back at Allan's house his dad was disappointed about  what happened. The officer explained what happened then left. Allan walked through the door and then asked his dad: 'so did you watch the movie without me?' Before he could finish though his father interrupted him and said: 'no! I'm asking the questions here. Do you have any idea how embarrassing it is to have you show up in a cop car?' Then Allan responds: 'Dad you know I didn't do anything.' Then his dad tells him: 'I know you didn't son, but he did and he could've gotten you in trouble for it.' Allan: 'Dad I chose to do it, he didn't ask me to. I'm a good friend so I tried to help him.' Dad: 'I just don't get why you would defend this guy. I mean are friends like that even worth keeping?' Allan: 'you don't know him like I do. People think he's bad but he's not. He's my bro I would know.' Then his dad takes a deep breath and says: 'I just don't want you to hang out with him.' Allan looks down in disappointment and walks up stairs. His dad feels sympathy for Allan and decides to walk up stairs after a few minutes pass. He finds Allan sitting on his bed watching The Office his favorite show. His dad enters the room, sits down next to him, and asks: 'is that The Office?' To which Allan responds: 'yeah this is one of my favorites.' Then his dad says: 'oh is that the one where Michael does something stupid and puts everyone in an awkward situation?' Allan looks at his dad in confusion, and says: 'I think you just summarized the show's plot.' The two share a laugh in a moment of tender wholesomeness. Then Allan tells his father that his mom was the one that got him into watching the show in the first place. Dad: 'oh right I forgot about that.' Then Allan says: 'that's the only good she ever did for me.' His dad gets up and says: ' Allan, don't say that.' Allan: ' how could I not say that? She was the worst.' Dad: 'she was not the worst.' Then Allan interrupts his dad and says: 'and also to answer your other question I stick up for friends like that cause they didn't get tired of me and my family and go out for cigarettes and never came back.' His dad laughs and says: 'that's an odd way of putting it, but I think I get what you mean.' Allan walks over to his window, and tries to hold back tears. Then his father says: 'you know it was mutual right we had problems and we didn't know how to deal with it. It wasn't your fault it wasn't anybody's.' Allan: 'come on dad, she didn't deserve you. She didn't deserve us she had everything here and then she had to go screw it up.' His dad, Ray, leans over a table in Allan's room trying to process all this. Allan continues: 'I bet she didn't even tell you the truth, she was probably a cheating skank.' His dad yells: 'she was your mother.' His father says that as a tear falls from his eye then Allan says: 'you're right dad she was my mother.'

About an hour after this passes, Lewis goes to visit Johnny at the station. Johnny gets up in his cell and says: 'dude what are you doing here?' That's when Lewis approaches and says: 'I had the same question man' Lewis starts sipping on a cup of water. Then Johnny says: ' since you already know I'll tell you that the teacher had it coming.' Lewis: 'I'm pretty sure she did, but don't you think this could've been handled differently?' Then an officer walks in and opens the gate and tells Johnny he can go. Once they're outside Johnny asks Lewis: 'bro why the hell did they let me go?' Lewis: 'I really don't know man, but be grateful.' What Johnny didn't know is that after the argument with his dad, Allan called the teacher and got Johnny off the hook. Lewis offers Johnny a ride home and Johnny says: 'nah.' Lewis said: 'I still don't get what happened.' Johnny: 'I pranked the teacher cause she was an a-hole. What don't you get?' Lewis: 'the why?' Johnny: 'that's none of your business.' Lewis: 'I just thought since we were friends you know.' Johnny then just walks away from the conversation. Then Lewis drove away in his car and Johnny walked home. When Johnny got home he saw his parents in his uncle's room.  He had a really bad night, and his parents didn't have time to know he was gone cause they were too busy with his uncle. Then he over heard a conversation between his parents where his mom told his dad: 'what are we gonna do with him now?' Then he could hear sobbing and his mom said: 'I don't know if he's gonna make it.' Then Johnny entered his room and threw away the bottle he originally thought would make him feel better and ripped the test with the bad grade he got on that teacher's test to shreds. Then he started tearing up. That's when his brother Jay walked in, and saw his bottle. Then he said: 'how did you get this?' Then Johnny told him: 'that's none of your business, a-hole.' Then Jay said: 'you're underage, and mom is so gonna kill you. I can't wait to tell her.' Then the two started fighting in Johnny's room. They went all out and both got tired, but Jay wanted to continue. Then Johnny told him: 'listen idiot mom and dad are too busy with our uncle to deal with our stupid problems so let's just stop.' Jay looked down, and nodded his head. After Jay left the room, Johnny was left there thinking to himself about the events that transpired.
